| Good question, it should be a 2018 entry.

| Why is the rare Star Wars minifigure Finch Dallow (sw1005) registered under 2017?
I know the original LEGO set (Resistance Bomber) was released in 2017, but the
re-release of the set - which included the new Finch Dallow minifig - is from
late 2018.
Or am I wrong?

If minifig dates work the same way than for parts, they are automatically set
from the (oldest) set they are from.
So, unless the new version of the set gets its own entry, the minifig’s date
will stay 2017.

Ah okay, make sense.
Thanks!
