Agreed, that would be fantastic. Tired of zooming in and out all the time. Never
had to do it once over on BrickOwl.

Instant checkout pretty much solves this. You can force new buyers to only use
instant checkout in your store. Doing something as you suggested would only add
to complications and most likely deter new buyers. Buying/checkout is meant to
be as easy as possible, not difficult.

Hey, I was not expecting that. I appreciate the time you've taken to reply
so thank you.

Regardless of the issues the buyer has now gone through with the order and thankfully
was very understanding of the issues. I'll check my emails later as I occasionally
do get them sent to spam folders.

I've adjusted what I can regarding shipping methods and for bigger more obscure
items I have started to set as manual invoice. I had a buyer who wanted to buy
some plates from me and couldn't even after I explained possible work around
that have worked for other customers.

Regarding your business decisions; not everything makes you money.

If you're having to declare you're staying up until 3am then maybe its
time you actually employ someone. That would be really great on the help desk
side of things as it's practically none existent.

If the code is very fragile then employ someone who knows what they're doing
and that can do it effectively. If a hospital needs a surgeon they're not
going to get a caretaker are they?

Based of what I've read, Lawrence over at BrickOwl listens to his community

I'd send info to the help desk but as I've been ignored before I've
lost hope in that area.

Regarding my used inventorying. I do not mean in the way of parting out new sets
etc. I mean if you're pulling used from a bulk lot. Instead of adding parts
one by one create an onsite way of adding in bulk batches like Brickstock does.
I know this won't make you money but it would be a great addition. Adding
used lots one by one is painful onsite.

I noticed you left out;

Most things you post are vague from every angle and you sit in the shadows
whilst
everyone is up in question. Regardless of if the feedback is good or bad you
still push out the garbage updates anyway. This is not acceptable

Can you please explain why the Bricklink team are so atrocious in explaining
and clarifying situations. Questions are rife on the forum yet I see no answers.

Thanks
Reece

Hmm, possibly.

One thing that is happening though; I've had Bricklink customers buy from
me but on BrickOwl in recent weeks. It's not just a few either, it's
many.

I'm starting to get really frustrated now with Bricklink. Maybe you'll
reply?

Is the quote function broken? I had a quote come in 5 days ago and I had no notification
or anything regarding it. I only knew because the buyer messaged me last night.
This is not acceptable.

Your site has duplicated lots on numerous occasions, this is not acceptable.

Also on numerous occasions I've had customers tell me that they cannot checkout
after ironing out potential issues I have found out it's the site, not me.
I've lost money to this and again, this is not acceptable.

Most things you post are vague from every angle and you sit in the shadows whilst
everyone is up in question. Regardless of if the feedback is good or bad you
still push out the garbage updates anyway. This is not acceptable.

Your site is very slow at times and it's getting more and more frustrating
when trying to work. All of a sudden the site will grind to a standstill. This
is not acceptable.

Your ability to inventory used Lego is appalling. Why not work on this rather
than Brickarms? that's right. Money. If it won't make you money then
you won't bother. This is not acceptable.

I sell on BrickOwl too and I've never had a single issue. You may be the
market leaders currently but your cockyness will catch up with you soon. I pay
my monthly fees on time every time and this is the mess I have to work with?
Can't it just 'work'? Why is everything difficult and half made?
Not acceptable. I'm tired of apologising to customers because of the issues
on this site. I dread to think how many people have turned away from my store
and not said anything.

I'm just frustrated and the quote issue lastnight was the tipping point for
me. Fix your site.

I'm aware there's trolls on here so please keep your witty comments to
yourself.

Thanks
Reece

BrickOwl has a feature where you can declare your store smoke free.

Bricklink should implement something similar and of course; this will not stop
people lying about it. I don't think anyone will admit 'hey my parts
smell of smoke, buy them' but then again. That's what feedback is for.

I've seen a few stores now, big ones too and most of their negatives are
regarding the smell of smoke. Personally I'd avoid them stores.

+1 to this

It's all I see on the forums now lol

I respect he or she that deals with the help desk may be overrun however I
think Bricklink needs to urgently expand their help desk. It's hurting their
site. It's like putting a plaster on a gunshot wound (sums up this site at
the moment I think)

I contacted nearly 2 weeks ago now about some inventory issues that were urgent
and I've still not heard back. From a business perspective this is not acceptable
and the fact Bricklink is my job I find it rather scary.

There's bugs that are apparent still to this day yet they're not ironed
out. Work around's are not good enough. Things should work.

Expand the help desk please

Thanks

I completely disagree with your statement and I don't feel everyone should
have to do something just because you had what seems a negative experience. If
you want to ship your orders in boxes then do so that's fine. If you want
to make a rule for yourself where 1 or 2 figs is okay but anything else is not
then go ahead but saying everyone else should do it is rather silly.

I have some measures in place to prevent the issue you had and I ship 90% of
my orders big or large in bubble mailers. I take the time to place parts in bags
rather than throw them in and I also suck the air out of those bags to prevent
rattling/scratching. I've never had a complaint about quality.

Sadly you can't prevent postmen and mail workers roughly handling packages,
some of my orders that have arrived look like they've been dug up lol
