I am pretty sure that my verification was correct.

Were they sealed sets. This set is notorious for having more parts than the instructions
show. What was Peeron's rules about extra parts at the time? I've got
a few of these sets and I'm pretty sure everything shown on the box can be
built with the parts included, since I have one set which was in very original
condition, including unused sticker sheet that allowed me to do just that.

Could this be a case where Bricklink has better inventory rules to cope with
sets like this, and Peeron back in the day didn't?

Are there LEGO sets with seperate Parts Lists or Inventory Lists?

The Catalog defines packaging and instructions and other books etc.
I would like to know if there are also parts lists?

Thx,
Arnoud

I mean parts lists on paper, like instructions, that come in the box...

I've seen pictures of a wooden box set from the 60's that had a printed
parts list. Of course because of the age these are rare. If I remember correctly
it was an English list so perhaps this was something that only happened with
the English sets.

So I have downloaded the instructions for 31109, and wondered how I could upload
the parts list in order to obtain parts to build the tavern. I want to do a Moc
based on the tavern to use with the island parts left over from Pirates of Barricuda
Bay with the ship built properly. Thanks.

It looks like this set is still in the process of having its inventory added.
Once it is done under the My Wanted List link on the set page, a Part Out link
will appear. That link will allow you to add all the parts to a wanted list you
can then use to purchase them. I don't use that feature often but as far
as I remember it will also let you edit the list to whatever subset of parts
you might want during the process, or you can also delete unneeded parts from
your wanted list later.

  Hi all.

Suggestion ….

Feedback is not always left by the customer. Positive is left most times, and
a customer will always leave negative or neutral if there is something wrong.

One assumes that if nothing is heard from the customer, it must have been delivered
and was ok. Therefore - Can we have an automated positive feedback say after
2 months(or whatever length of time is felt suitable) of order being delivered
for all orders still showing as shipped. It could also be implemented if the
seller has not given feedback.

Thanks

Tracy

This suggestion would remove the option to not leave feedback which is a middle
ground between leaving positive feedback for a good experience and leaving either
neutral or negative feedback knowing it will penalise a seller. I can't see
any point to this except to pacify those who worry that others don't leave
them feedback. Perhaps those people would be better off not worrying so much
about it or being a bit more introspective.

Thank you for adding photos. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention when you posted:

As I mentioned before, a collector checked his set and confirmed this. I can
also upload photos of Bluxe, if necessary.

So a vintage train collector has confirmed what the instructions are showing
with his copy of the set.

Those photos actually show six legs. Two with the figures on either end of the
carriage, 3 on the nose and legs of the horse, and an extra one mounted behind
the figure on the rear of the horse.

I can assure you that there is nothing funny about inventory change requests.

I shall never laugh at them again, I doubt more fruit and vegetables will help.
I already eat too much fruit for the good of my pancreas and don't think
I have enough time for more carrots and celery. Takes too long to chew. I'll
try more beer, it makes me feel good,

Note that the only thing not shown in the parts list on set box is the fire truck
siren. I have spoken with TLG about this and they assure me that an employee
has been sent to correct the omission:

These posts have amused me so I hope they indicate humour rather than a psychotic

Bank transfers are also easy and free in Australia, so are preferred by many
when dealing with trusted sellers.
