I leave it when I ship. Once the buyer has paid for the transaction, they are
done with their obligation. Some leave feedback, some dont.. I do not focus or
worry about any of that.

I would be thoughtful in the layout height of the akro mills cabinets. I run
mine from "almost" floor to ceiling. The constant bending down with that
setup would be a strain on them. Maybe consider larger "storage containers"
of some sort as the base (bulk lego) and keep the akro mills at an appropriate
arms reach level. I run two rolling carts with ipads to pick orders so there
is no back and forth to a pc. I have about 120 cabinets and then about 7 storage
racks of plastic shoe box storage containers for bulk parts. About 700k in parts
storage and I get maxed out. I am making a move in the near future so expansion
in this home is a no go(plus almost out of space). Next home the setup will be
larger and tweaked a bit. As you run the store you really get a good feel for
how to set things up for your space and will probably end of tweaking the layout
multiple times. I still remember having all parts just bagged in sandwich bags
and all in bins. Took forever to stock and pull. Drawers are the way to go off
from the start but are an investment and have gone up in price.

Good luck!

Anyone else have the last 3 or 4 days of orders still showing on your order screen
in Shipstation? I've tried contacting them, provided screen shots and even
tried to manual update the tracking in PayPal to clear them. I've been
successful in clearing 2 or 3 but the rest gives me an error.

Same issue here. I have found some posts on facebook (bricklink sellers) and
we are not alone.

Its annoying.

Stripe... BLAH!

I had an account for about a year, probably 500+ transactions.. ZERO chargebacks/disputes.

Out of nowhere my account was closed , and the email stated they would not be
providing a reason other than I was classified as high risk. Tried to work with
the resolution team and never got a response. My funds are still being held for
(120 days).

Just sharing my experience with stripe.

Come buy up to 200 lots and as much quantity as you want at ASUS Brix! Wholesale
prices forever! Parts added everyday!

Just fyi, I added 8oz of parts to my cart (about 30ish dollars) and shipping
was 21.00

May want to address that, because it will turn off potential buyers.

  Hello!

Unfortunately I find myself with not enough time in the day.

If anyone is looking for one of the best inventories of Star Wars figures, here
it is.

Open to discussion but would only want to sell as a whole.

Any questions or interest, let me know

All the best,
Jeremy

Jeremy,

I may be intrested. Can you send me a message with the store password so I can
take a look and let me know what you are looking to get dollar wise?

Thanks!

  Hey Guys,

I'm sure this must have been discussed in the past but I can't find any
relevant threads so apologies if that is the case (+any links appreciated).

For those of us who part out new sets how many copies of each do you tend to
go with? I'm a little hesitant with going to deep in a single set in case
it doesn't perform to well.

Cheers

JT

Well, the answer will vary for each store based on probably most importantly,
how much capital you have to invest in sets. Other factors include, number of
lots (lower lot count and less work to part factors in), the mix of parts in
the set (sometimes you have a high part out value but some unique high priced
low volume parts).

Once you do this for a while, you will be able to just scroll through the parts
list and KNOW what sells.

Most of the time, I shoot for 10x on average size sets. But at one time I would
do 2x, then it was 5x etc etc.. as your store grows, keep re-investing.

I re-invest on average 30% of my sales into new inventory. Dont force it, wait
for a good deal then spend it.. there will be times nothing looks good to you
so just wait.

Even though we all ultimately sell lego, every does it a liiitle bit different
in terms of buying, selling, strategies etc.. I have "stolen" what I would call
best practices from other sellers and then eventually you find your own way of
doing it once you have some experience under your belt.
