| Any sucessfully recieve their exemption?
Bricklink emailed a list of members two weeks ago allowing sellers to apply,
I responded with my sales tax certificate, they asked for an additional form
which I provided. Now its radio silence for a week and still no exemption.
I just went through the same process with Uline and it took an hour:/

| Many of the changes the USPS has been making are necessary and, in some cases,
have improved service. Package processing during the holidays has been great
the last few years after the pandemic meltdown.
But this was a disaster, my USPS rep as usual had no answers. I see now not even
a US Senator could get his answers without dragging Mr. Dejoy Infront of a committee.
Can you image if UPS had this kind of transition? They’d be out of business.

| Admin announced it was a priority and they were "actively working on it"
two years ago.
It never happened.
A year ago, corporate held a roundtable with Bricklink buyers and sellers after
which they said that they could see it was needed and where "moving forward."
Never happened.
At the roundtable the corporate stressed how "difficult it is to implement
across different state tax jurisdictions."
This is nonsense in my opinion, there are small businesses with just a few employees
that have launched a tax exempt integration in matter of weeks using Avalara's
integration that handles everything.

way to do business.

| Most domestic scales are not accurate enough for counting LEGO® bricks.
Several of the largest stores on bricklink use commercial counting scales including
this model: https://tinyurl.com/4kpet99n
These scales are so sensitive they actually recommend keeping them away from
HVAC vents.

| Tanja,
Thank you for your reply. However, the LEGO groups terms of service still seem
unfriendly to bricklink sellers and AFOL customizers: https://www.lego.com/en-us/page/terms-and-conditions
I can see why bricklink users would be hesitant to merge accounts.

Andrew

| Bricklink has promised sales Tax exemptions for buyers on the forums almost 2
years ago.
They then held a roundtable in January and communicated that it was on their
radar. Silence sense then...

| I last saw CE_Tanja in a meeting in January, I asked her if I could follow
up on that status of what was discussed, She agreed. The last time she answered
an email was 6 months ago. Has anyone seen her in a marketplace panel more recently?
Are those meeting still happening?

| Nita,
I'm not really what to say, I work a lot in international shipping and was
provided the meeting notes by my APC rep which were very explicit this was USPS
wide suspension. I'm sorry this didn't convince you but I hope it gave
everyone else a few days warning.
As promised service is suspended: https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/international/welcome.htm
Kind Regards,
Andrew

I can confirm this was announced by the USPS on their call to all USPS's
consolidators on Wednesday the 9th.

| "We have been alerted by the USPS that they will also be temporarily suspending
service into Russia on March 11, 2022, due to unavailable transportation as a
result of widespread cancellations and restrictions into the area.
At this time, there is no available service, so we ask that you refrain from
sending material destined to Russia. If your material to Russia is received
by APC accidentally, we will ship once restrictions have been lifted and service
resumes.
Please note that we are in constant communication with the USPS and other carriers
and will alert you with any changes.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
Sincerely,
APC Postal Logistics"

| Of the MTC states there are a handful that require replying, the majority are
one and done.
I'll keep saying it, contact Tanya and the help desk to let them know this
is a priority.

| I'm with you, but it's hard when I haven't seen the backend system
to come back at them when they say it's hard.
Please do shoot admin, help desk, and Tanya an email.
