Hi all,
My first post as I am new on here, apologize if I have posted this in the wrong
group, so I need help with the Lego Control Center, I have purchased one that
has a custom UK AC Adaptor attached, however after opening it the AC wires are
taped to the 2 blue wires separately inside the control center, is this safe
to use?
I have also attached a photo of the adaptor, please can someone advise me if
this setting is correct and safe, as here in the UK it is so hard to find version
2, so I am left with x2 Version 1 controllers and to be eco-friendly I would
rather not use batteries.
Thanks
Vee

Check if the cable are soldered together or just twisted inside the tape.
If they are twisted use some thing like in the image to make it safe. (used in
many cars)

I've come around to the thinking that this part was not split correctly.
I have 2 different shades of 'thin' versions (very subtle) and 'thin'
versions that are the exact same color as 'thick' ones. It's a mess.

Then the dots are then probable a thick circles that and you cant see the
LBG color inside them.

I count 26 dots/circles on the outer side of the ring, and another 6 on the inner
edge of the ring. For the seven that I have, as well as in the BL comparison
image, it looks like all of them are circles. I cannot see any "dots".
Would you be able to indicate on the 30366pb03 image where the dots are?

| Hi Nubs (or anyone else),
I see that this thread is set to "Completed", but I was wondering if
there is any other method to convincingly tell parts 30366pb02 and 30366pb03
apart.
I have seven of these that I have pulled from various bulk lots. The pattern
colour appears to be LBG, which corresponds to pb03, yet the lines on all seven
are thin and defined, which corresponds to pb02. In the BrickLink comparison
image, the "thick" lines for the LBG version are not apparent on any
of my seven.
I did find the alternate number 42018 on two of the seven, making those two the
LBG pb03 version, yet this does not conclusively prove which version the other
five are.
Furthermore, it was noted that in the BL comparison image, there is a black diagonal
line closing off the bottom triangles near the horizontal inverted studs near
the base on the LBG pb03 version, yet this bottom line is missing on the LG pb02
version. In my seven, I see that five do have the line and two do not, but once
again, the colour tone for all seven really looks like LBG. Is the presence/absence
of this horizontal line just a printing error, or is it a conclusive difference
between the LG and LBG versions?
Any guidance will be appreciated,
Dennis

Some note from me.
Determined Entries for Very Common Parts
You are aware that what you are doing here, by removing the "with Groove"
text you are creating a “undetermined type” entry. That thing BL have
been working for years to get ride of. People that com her to chop can no longer
be sure what type they will get. Many seller that is to lacy to determent what
version they have will use this entry.
Blocked and Vented Studs
Why are you destroying the database that so many AFOLs have been help building
for years.
Adding a note to the listing are not going to help especial when we talking 100
of thousand notes that have to added and when Search engine like “Easy Bye”
doesn't even show notes when you using it.
And with the listing gone nobody will know where to add those notes.
Smooth slopes
Try to add a sticker to a rouge surface.
Sprue marks
Are the windows glass going to be rename/merged to ?
When people are building MOCs they want them to look good. A sprue mark are for
the most part something the doesn't want.
Torsos with ribs
Like people have been telling you if they wont the old Minifigur they don’t
want the new Torso, (and some of those Torso wont even survive a Leg assemble
from the wrong time period whiteout cracking).
X-shaped axle holes
+ and x shaped axle hole often have different use.
+ shape are for better and stronger connection and x is mostly for easy connection
and removing.
Blocked and vented studs
And here we are again. I have been here so long that I remember that BL at one
point even had it in its TOS that forbid the user to add Minifigs heads with
one of those.
Those are imported time reference for the Minifigs.
By doing this (and I think this it only the start) you are more or less killing
BrinkLink.
By destroying the database BL are removing many buyers reason to com here. They
need to go to other places to get the info they need and the going to buy what
they looking for there.
You didn’t even send a mail about this to the most important group on BL The
Buyers.
Whiteout buyer there will be no reason for seller to be here and you get no fee
to pay for everything.
Go through with and i give the site max 5 years before its gone.
I think the best thing to do is cancel the whole ting for now and start working
on an umbrella entry that can have more than one sub entry. That way you can
still have the best database and lacy (seller that don’t want to take
there time to sort out different molds or don’t know how to) sellers can list
the way they want.
Have a nice day.

I think multiple shallow drawers work best. Here is a snippet of my setup.
I have around 430 drawers like this for 600,000+ parts.

That looks quite like my storage solution. One tip: glue some cut pieces of baseplate
to the front of the drawer, so you can put example bricks that visually show
what's inside.

"glue" "cut"
Words that never shall be said around LEGO

A thing you can cut is a "Toy Block Tape" there is no LEGO damaged there.
(Do a google search and you will find it).

By building the set, and checking inventory as per the official LEGO instructions, the pieces are
6 of 4276b White
10 of 4275b White

Redesigned during production.
There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. The differences
for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items
section with Match ID 99.
Quick overview of redesign: On the upper deck of the trailer a white 2 x 4 plate
is replaced by a white 4 x 4 plate and some of the white hinges are doubled up.
A black 4 x 8 plate is added above the trailer wheels and a black 2 x 4 technic
plate is added to the tractor where the trailer attaches.
The:
6 of 4276b White
10 of 4275b White
are there as "99".
