Hi I have never posted here but I think this should be looked into. When you
receive a payment with E-CHECK the system should not mark as paid ore received
but it should state under payment status of (clearing) until it actually clears.
so the buyer and seller can see. Also when E-CHECK is used a message to buyer
and seller that order is on hold till payment has cleared.

Thanks Steve BRIX4KIX

Add a filter to search criteria, to exclude sellers with minimum purchase over
X (where I decide the value of X).

I know it does show minimum purchase in the search results, but being able to
just exclude these stores, would be helpful.

Voted YES also

please implement

I say if there is a reason to ban someone from replying to someone's posts
for not being able to get along, I say there is enough of a reason for a full
ban.

Without pointing fingers or blame, I am going to use you and me as an example.
Clearly, we often do not get along and have heated exchanges that others don't
like to see here. Yes, the mods could ban us both, or choose sides and ban one
of us. But that ban would deprive all the other forum readers the benefits of
interacting with that banned member on the forum. Despite our disagreements,
you and I can both be very helpful, friendly and constructive in our forum discussions
with others. This suggestion offers an option for more focused addressing of
the problem without taking away anything positive. It would allow the mods to
operate with the precision of a surgical scalpel instead of a chainsaw.

And let me make one further proposal... Until this suggestion may be implemented,
I am willing to refrain from posting replies to all of your posts if you agree
to refrain from posting any replies to mine. I make the same offer to Eric and
Andy as well. With the added provision that we cannot refer to each other in
posts that responds to others. Are you game?

Thor

one of the best things that you have suggested in a while, I hope you guys all
agree and stick to it good luck and go back to having a fun time hear.

just my thoughts steve

My offer hasn't been accepted yet Steve. I am hoping the three members I
mentioned will publicly accept my proposal. I think that will do much to calm
things in the forum.

Thor

give it time ego's cool off at different times, all of you are very passionate
about your sides, and thoughts.

good luck steve

Today I had a customer at my retail store ask me to source parts for a project
he designed in Lego Digital Designer. There are 3,742 pieces in 209 lots. I
am obviously not going to create a wanted list for this manually.

I figured i'd just import the parts list into BL and go from there, thinking
surely BL is setup to handle such things.

NOPE!

The only format BL is setup to import is BL XML files. The only formats that
LDD exports as are LXF and XLS. I am sure that there is some magic that can
be worked involving BrickStock, but I shouldn't need a third party program
to get this to work.

With people designing all sorts of things in LDD and LDRAW, BL should be able
to import these formats directly so that those people can source their parts
here. Why this wasn't a priority over the MOC Shop is beyond me. People
are going to be more willing o buy their own designs over someone elses.

So, my suggestion is that BL be able to import, at a minimum:

LEGO Digital Designer files
LDRAW files
Excel Spreadsheet parts lists.

For further incentive: This already works at BrickOwl. I was able to import
the LDD file directly, and BO provided me with an estimate of the cost. This
is all that was needed at this point, but I was able to go further and search
stores for the parts.

Would much prefer to buy here, but if my customer decides to proceed with the
project itlooks like i will be shopping at BO.

Troy

voted yes that should be a must to work with there new pet sight.

propaganda that I didn't order. And yes the parts were just in thin cardboard
with tape around it from post office.

Personally, receiving religious propaganda in an order would categorically prevent
me from leaving positive feedback. Add the poor packaging and terrible service,
neutral feedback almost seems generous, yet is probably the right one.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the "religious propaganda"? That's
fairly vague, and I didn't notice it in any of the photos.

I received a small order shipped inside a Christmas card. I thought it was ingenious.
The parts were protected and well secured. But there are likely people out there
that would perceive many Christmas cards as religious propaganda.

My point, I would need a lot more detail than what was provided to judge the
seller in such a manner.

Just my two cents.

Cheers!

Hi there is no response from the seller to date 5 emails no response. The message
about the payment is my kinda inquiry about the order status. To check in if
the packing time passes there store terms by a couple days, and I do think that
administrator should be able to look out for the reputation of the sight. By
actively looking into multiple complaints out side of feedback do to Maney members
not posting feedback in fear of retaliatory feedback.

thats my thoughts on this

Was there anything missing from your order? Was there damage?

the counts were off and parts are scratched terribly, they are used but they
are all filler pieces now.

They just dumped them all in a thick paper, folded and then taped.

complaints about poor seller's. I received a order I placed a while back,
well first off I never recieved any messages back from the seller, they mailed
out the package 5days after there store terms sead they do.not usually a problem
since I typically send a message like ( hi just checking in to se if the payment
got to you thanks) the seller always contacts me back with yep got it will be
sending out soon got a little bizzy. That is no problem but from this seller
nothing.
