I previously had flat rate $4 for first class; it worked pretty well at the time.
I went on USPS site and probably should raise that to $5 or $6 if I want to
keep a flat rate.

I could do the same for priority mail too. Not sure what would be reasonable
or if I should just do manual invoicing as I did before.

I want to reopen my store and I know there have been changes since I last sold
a few years ago.

I believe I set up the instant checkout correctly and linked with paypal.

I am only shipping domestic US - so I need to set up the shipping charges since
check out is now automatic

I believe I set up the first class shipping correctly. I selected automated
invoicing, courier api and usps first class retail rate chart.

I am not sure how to set up shipping for priority mail. Recommendations?

I also removed outdated information in my terms. It's pretty straightforward,
so let me know if anything important is missing.

Thank you.

Have a bulk lot of all new parts - mostly extras from various purchased sets.
Some were part outs from small sets. Honest opinion for pricing is appreciated.
The one picture shows everything bagged and semi sorted. The other two pictures
are just close ups of the lot. Planning on re opening my store for a short time
to sell off some Lego I no longer want. Thank you.

So I was going through my Lego storage and started pulling out some old rare
sets as well as some special sets such as

Set No: celeb2010 Name: CubeDude - Bounty Hunter Edition - Star Wars Fan Celebration V Exclusive
*
celeb2010-1 (Inv) CubeDude - Bounty Hunter Edition - Star Wars Fan Celebration V Exclusive
496 Parts, 2010
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
. This one in particular
I know was essentially new condition and was only on display. It was in storage
(about a year?) in a plastic baggie in a plastic container in the dark. The
Dengar character looks like he got a bad suntan as the mostly white parts for
the head are now yellowed.

I'm wondering if the plastic in the bags are reacting to the bricks? I'm
almost afraid to start looking through the rest of my collection - almost all
of which are in storage due to space constraints.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Just a couple pictures to show the extent of discoloration

It’s just unfortunate because it is a nice build

I suppose eventually they will all discolor over time

So a few years back I collected the parts to build the Statue of Liberty Pedestal
MOC. It was on display for some time in a case (I built myself) but was never
in direct sunlight. I broke down the pedestal/statue and it has been in storage
for about a year or so. I decided this month to rebuild the statue and the pedestal.
When I pulled the pedestal out of storage, various parts were yellowing; some
quite badly. There's no reason or pattern to the yellowing parts, they are
just in various locations on the build.

I know the yellowing issue has been discussed here before.
Short of individually sorting through thousands of pieces on this MOC; what other
options are available? Can the yellowing be reversed on LBG parts?

Thanks for reading!

kidsncritters is from the fact that my wife and I adopted 8 children - all now
young adults and teens! The critters started with my now married daughter who
loves animals. We still have a few snakes, a couple cats, a three year old german
shepherd dog. Also chickens and ducks on our property that are under watch by
a crazy goose who loves to chase everyone!

Sunset bay bricks because we live near the shore and we have awesome sunsets!

We just had to put down our dog of 15+ years this past Monday. He was a faithful
companion to our family - always letting us know when anyone approached the house

He could be a goofball sometimes but he will be missed. We probably will not
be getting another dog for now (the wife may change my mind .

This was the longest I have ever had a dog (we also had a cat for almost 12 years
as well).

We still have three cats and assorted reptiles and amphibians in our house!
Our two black cats were rescues from the shelter when they were kittens. They
are supposed to belong to my teen daughter but they follow me around the house
and sleep on my bed!

Pets can be a lot of work, but they are nice to have around!

It represents that only half the orders placed at S@H were actually filled

It does look odd though...

I agree that your scenario is most likely what is happening. I remember first
using this site and it was confusing.

I just wish the buyer would at least respond to my notice about shipping. Initially,
the majority would respond with a yes or no to the order. But now, like you
describe, they get to what they want - then stop, because they have no idea what
happens next.

Pretend you are Joe or Jane Consumer, and you're looking for a particular
LEGO set (one that has gone into retirement 5-10-15 years ago). You know nothing
of BrickLink, how do you find that set ?

You might try Amazon, and flinch at some of the prices. You might look at eBay,
and have a hard time picking out who to trust. Or you might stumble upon BrickSet
(via any of the search engines), and notice the links down on the right side-bar
about where to buy it.

When they click thru the link, it takes them to those listings which satisfy
the parameters in the BrickSet link. They then click on one (or several) and
end up in your store. At this point, they think they know all they need to know
and try to do checkout. Unlike eBay or Amazon, they are usually not being presented
with a complete total here, and (because of that) not allowed to make payment.
So the experience of finding your offering, works pretty good, right up to the
last step. They never had any reason to look at your terms (or the terms at eBay
or Amazon), they just want to complete payment and get on with it.

That's where we are today, in the year 2016.

I have been experiencing this more often. I've clearly stated the shipping
costs - but I do not believe they read the terms. I will also send a message
to brand new buyers and more often then not, they do not respond at all.

I just had two this past week. Sent both an email detailing the shipping costs.
Neither responded. Sent the invoice anyway. One paid the next day and the
other never did. I could cancel now or wait to Monday to file an NPB.

Since our postal service raised rates - my international orders are few. I may
just close it down and put a note to contact if truly interested in placing an
order.

Hi,
being from that region, can you confirm that Lithuanian Litai and Estonian Kroon
are also obsolete?

Wikipedia: "Estonia adopted the euro in January 2011, Latvia in January 2014,

I know all about not existing currency......I am married and not allowed to have
money.

I have eight kids - no currency here either

Do they thing you weird for your Lego hobby?
John P

On occasion - yes they do!

I keep telling my wife it could be worse...

I was wondering what all the fuss was about - then I looked on the part detail
page...

NO TABS at the bottom!

I thought it was a great idea to have the tabs there!
