  Dear Admin,

Please consider for BL 2.0:
an optional 'Show emptied carts in my store' feature.

This could contain only the quantity of carts or perhaps also can show the items.

With this feature Sellers can compare the store visits with the received orders.
This can be useful to determine a selling strategy and probably more...

Thank you.

Voted yes. I have experienced sites that monitor basket drop out and even go
as far as to email to ask if anything was wrong.

I don't suggest that there be any user data transfer, just a count of how
many baskets get emptied.

Perhaps if those people are reminded by admin that their manners are rude to

Voted No.

Where do we stop? Should posts with poor grammar and spelling also be removed?

Someone who is shouting cannot easily be ignored, someone typing in all caps
can easily be ignored.

  Hi Guys.

Today I suggest a Save Shopping Cart feature because if you are shopping about
and want to buy something but cant afford it now, you would want to keep that
shopping cart for later. Give some comments and vote please

How about shopping only when you have the money?

Sometimes, what you want, costs more than what you can currently afford.

Items in a basket are still visible in a sellers inventory and can be bought
from out of your shopping basket by someone else.

Create a wanted list.

i kept for, eg a week. At the moment it isn't kept after you log off, so if I
want to place an order tomorrow, I either have to do it today or copy & paste
into word, then go to the trouble of finding all the items again. Thoughts?

Why not ask the seller if they can hold your order open. You can make additions
in subsequent batches that will be added to the original order until marked paid/packed.

This also prevents someone from buying items in your cart but you wont be able
to empty the cart and will be obliged to complete the order.

Useful, yes!

Where would it be so instinctively people could find it?

Robert

It could have a help page, people might not instinctively find it but those in
the now could paste it into a help thread to answer some questions.

I vote yes.

Ps Just getting into the trains myself so would love to have this available and
when I learn more would be glad to help.

I gave a suggestion yesterday that over 95 people have viewed but I have no idea
of who agrees or disagrees, other than those that posted a reply.

This used to exist. Was removed by Admin (Dan). I think some people assumed that
if their suggestion got lots of votes it should get implemented which is not
always in the site's interest of course (e.g. I could make a suggestion to have
no selling feees ).

Robert

Thanks Robert, I was unaware of this.

I would suggest that Bricklink allows for more than one address.

I have most of my orders shipped to my home address but sometime, with larger
orders I prefer them delivered to my work address as someone is always there
to receive it.

I would like to be able to select which address at the time of placing the orders
as sometime the address on the paypal payment is not seen by the seller.

Both these address' are registered and confirmed with paypal.

When buying from stores who don't accept other currencies it disappears after

It would be nice if (~EUR) to keep the orderdetailspage if paid in USD or GBP.
Then we're able to see the price of items in the order days/weeks/months later.

How does one select a wrong currency. Check out should only list your accepted
currencies of Euro and US Dollar?

As a seller I accept euro sterling and dollars and will happily receive any currency
listed. If I were to order from you I would likely pay in dollars as my paypal
has more dollars than euros.

When it should be listed separetly as USED then it would make no sense for the
whole set to declare it as NEW & COMPLETE.

I understand you that you say that an open box is open and used but because of
my explanation above I tend to have no condition for boxes.

Not quite, this is a separate issue from parts. Parts state and condition are
covered in 102 http://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=102

This is about the box, which in my opinion is only new when still sealed and
filled with a set. How can it be new if you opened it.

Fiddy

TBH I don't have a definative answer to this issue but can see that it has crossed
several threads and opinions.

I don't have any boxes listed but when I do list them, they will all be listed
as used with a description of condition.

I also don't have any open sets, used or otherwise but not sure how I will approach
this.

Grading boxes by condition makes much more sense.

order has been marked complete.

No, if it's not broken it needs no fix.

If the order is complete, there is no reason for the buyer or seller to contact
the other party or to know when they log in to Bricklink.

Sometimes it's interesting to know if someone logged in again later.

I doubt people actually click on this unless they need it (e.g a NPB or NRS) but still I would hate to
think somebody is clicking on somebody else's link every day to see if they log
in or not.

I click on it everyday when I'm waiting for feedback and for some filed orders
too.

As of now the info is available for 6 months, the same frame for leaving
feedback.

For people not familiar with the "Last Logged In:" feature, when you go to the
orders placed you can see all the orders you have placed in the last six months
(I imagine the same holds for orders received). When you click the name of the
seller it opens a page with address, other info and the last time they had activity
on BL.

Ok, maybe this is not a big deal. But I just thought I would point it out.

It isn't.

I vote no.

I click on it when I have placed an order, I see a seller log in every half hour
or so and think "is my invoice next"?

Hi

I would like to see an own it tab. So I can create a list of all the parts in
my private collection (ie not for sale). As a lego collector I use bricklink
for buying lego, selling lego but also for referencing and researching what I
need. With now hundreds of figures I would love to look through the catalogue
and see what I DONT WANT ANYMORE.
