How would we know it when we see it?

Dirt cheap prices on valuable sets in larger quantities.

That's everything on facebook marketplace.

Aaa, yes the sewer market

In LEGO products, dethkruzer writes:
So I pretty recently bought the GWP Tahu and Takua set, and have been noticing
an alarming number of cracked parts. I put the set together, occasionally pose
it a little, but haven't done anything like repeatedly disassembling and
then reassembling the set. Most of the time the set is just standing on my little
shelf, not under any direct sunlight. Yet it seems like every time I pick the
build up, I find a new cracked piece. All three side-stud pieces in both takua's
and tahu's head are cracked. both the ingot pieces on Tahu's, cracked.
One of the arches making up takua's arm? Cracked. One of the half-pound tiles
that makes up takua's toes? Cracked.

And that's only what I've found. I have a suspicion that if I were to
take the set apart, I'd find even more cracked pieces.

So my question is, well, in the title.

Yep, just look at the renders of this new set. As you can see the colour inconsistency
is crazy.

Not really, if you may notice Canada doesn’t have a lot of big highways like
the states, and most of our roads are just two lane.

The same is true of the less developed parts of the United States. Big Canadian
cities tend to resemble big American cities, with a small urban core surrounded
by a large ring of low-density car-dependent suburbs.

That’s just it most of Canada’s towns are small, leading to not many big roads.

We have talked about it since

At BrickLink speed, it may be fixed in another 4-5 years.

Noooooo!!!

Bl needs to start taking things more seriously, rather than waste time and money
on a merge that we didn’t ask for.

To be fair, before World War II, trains were the dominant form of overland travel
in America and cities tended to be small and dense, kind of like European cities.

However, this country has grown a lot since then and new development tends to
be more centered around automobiles. Much the same is true of Canada.

which is on the v2/v3 side,
— ditto BDP, which is also, IIUC, how BL is making money and why TLG bought BL,
— and the merges don’t touch the code at all, which is why it’s painfully done
manually over several months rather than with a simple scripted database update
in one fell.

Agreed with this - and I love the recent Catalog merges.

But UTLF point may be that time, energy and money spent on those weren't
used to fix or upgrade our day to day use of the current BrickLink.

For a few years we only see as upgrades: more taxes, documents and procedures
to follow.

I don't blame BrickLink, it's everywhere - the legalized income pressure
gets higher and higher on small people, with nothing/few in compensation.

Finally some thing we all can agree on.

Aren't there many books on the catalog that only have 1 set as inventory?

The original production runs of this book did not contain the "set",
so the book is inventoried like all other books that did not contain a "set".

Then should not the “set” be removed from the catalog? After all it is technically
just a bag being used as a containment device for the parts.

The set entry should have a set number on the polybag somewhere, whereas the
original books just had the parts in a plain clear bag like other books.

As you can see from the picture, the bag is just the standard packaging bag with
NO set markings.

Sorry, it's the only image we have right now.

Sooo, are you saying we got a picture of some other random bag?
