I have no idea where they come from, they were in a storage box with 10247 Ferris
Wheel, 10257 Carousel and 10244 Fairground Mixer.

Does anyone know of a set where you build these "traffic cones"? They are either
in Flat Silver or Metallic Silver.

I'm looking for a trick to add sets that have been announced but haven't
been released yet to my wanted lists. Is there some kind of placeholder set that
could be used?

In the inventory there is a smaller version shown on the sticker sheet than on
the box picture:

vs.

https://img.bricklink.com/ItemImage/SN/0/6382-1.png

There are also different pictures of the fire station shown, e.g.

big: https://img.ricardostatic.ch/t_1800x1350/pl/1074319782/0/1/

small: https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2020/6/11/original_lego_classic_town_638_1591916761_4813ed70_progressive

or
https://promoklocki.pl/media/6382/lego-6382.jpg

which seems to be a scan of a lego catalogue.

So are there two versions? Just like the two versions of the POLICE sign (serif
and sans serif) of 6384?

Nice catch.
If we find a second version of sticker sheet, then it is a proof. Otherwise the
box art cannot be reliable at all.
The stickers on the used model may not be original or they may be from this

Part No: B6000stk02 Name: Sticker Sheet for Book 6000, Sheet 2
*
B6000stk02 Sticker Sheet for Book 6000, Sheet 2
Parts: Sticker Sheet

That idea book sticker sheet has a black fire helmet. The used set shows a white
fire helmet.

But, yes, we would definitely need to see a different sticker sheet to really
prove anything.

Nice catch, you too
What I meant is that stickers on used models are not in general original.

Ok, it turns out that I do have a new sticker sheet 192895 that is the other
version! The only difference is that the big stickers is longer (longer black
background on both sides)
Other than that, I do not see any other difference. Shall I submit it as a new
entry?

Yes, please submit that! I would be curious to find out when (and why) TLG decided
to go for a smaller oder bigger sticker, whatever was before. It is the same
mystery like the POLICE print on 6384, where it is unknown why they went from
Sans Serif to Serif. At least it is documented in the set inventory list.

Inventory and Lego instruction counts 6x Light Bluish Gray Plate 1 x 2

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=10244-1&name=Fairground%20Mixer&category=%5BCreator%5D%5BModel%5D#T=I

In Lego instruction I only see it 4x. Manual 3 of 3 on page 8 ( 3x) and page
11 (1x) = 4x

So either the count is wrong or the instruction. Could somebody verify this?

Thx

The step on page 11 that uses 1x must be repeated 3x to build all three arms
of the ride. Those are the two that you are missing.

Cheers,
Randy

You are right! Thx

Just wondering if I‘m the only one where the parts

Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Horizontal (thick open O clip) - 61252

Plate, Modified 1 x 1 with Clip Light - Thick Ring - 4081b

differ in color from the others in Dark Red. They are rather reddish brown.

Did Lego pack the wrong bricks or is this a regular color deviation?

Thx

A precision: As Jennifer said, the years for the sets are the years the sets
were first released. But the years for the parts are the oldest and newest years
of the sets they appear in, they are automatically calculated.

Ah ok, that explains it. Still I doubt that the search for base plates is very
straightforward or accessible. Why so complicated?

The Years Released data for parts and sets only refers to the year they were
FIRST released, not all the years they were produced and available in stores.

The old Death Star 10188 only has 2008 as its Year, even though it was produced
for many years after that.

Is that what you are asking?

Jen

Thank you, but I still find it confusing. Because the base plate 48x48 gray is
indicated as "Years Released: 1980 - 2016".

I would interpret this as a "final" production year (which is wrong), Similar
for 3811 (at least saying 1978-2018).

Sort by 'Item name' and then order 'Up'.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=2&itemBrand=1000

Thx, but that's not helping. It only shows baseplates as parts and says erroneously
that these are no longer being produced. I need information about which plates
can actually be bought as "sets", in which size and colors etc.

I'm new in this forum, please let me know if I should use a different topic.

I'm not getting through the currently available baseplates. How can I sort
by plate size in the Bricklink catalog? For example, how would I find out if
there is currently a 32x32 baseplate in (Light Bluish) Gray?

I find it hard to see through. E.g., the 48x48 plates are listed as part 4186,
but it says: Years Released: 1980 - 2016. If I'm looking for sets, for example,
the 10701 appears, which has been sold since 2015 and still is according to Lego
online store.

So the listing 4186 is incorrect in saying that there is no current 48x48 baseplate.

When I search baseplate in sets, no sizes are displayed, it can not be sorted
by year.

Thank you
