Thanks a lot for checking and adding the parts to the inventory!

Kind regards,
Nico.

Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 851 Name: Tractor
*
851-1 (Inv) Tractor
305 Parts, 1977
Sets: Technic: Expert Builder

* Add 3 Part 3062b Light Gray Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud (Alternate) (match ID 1)
* Add 1 Part 3062b Red Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud (Alternate) (match ID 2)
* Add 2 Part 3069b Red Tile 1 x 2 with Groove (Alternate) (match ID 3)

Comments from Submitter:
Alternate parts (round brick with open stud and tile with groove) for the original version of the set.

Hi Nico,

Do you own this set yourself and are you sure it's not a copy of set 952?
Was it bought sealed?
We would appreciate if you would add images, which show these alternate parts.

About adding alternate parts and match numbers:
Match ID 1 can't be used, for it already exists in this set, so you will
have to start with match-id 2.
If you add alternate items, the same match number should also be added to the
regular part. You can do this by changing that regular part.

Diana

Hi Diana,

Yes, I own this set. No it was not bought sealed, but I bought 2 collections
of different people, both have this set in it, but only have the counterparts
as I made the change for (and this was a collection with several technic sets,
but the parts as in the inventory were not in the collection. Both collections
have the 851 instructions and box with it, so it definitely wasn't the 952
version.

Nico.

I checked some catalogs and my collection-sheet (with a lot of info from my own
collection).
Based on the following the changes will be approved:

- set 851-1 was sold from 1977 to 1980 at least;
- starting 1977 part 3069b came in many sets, I found them myself in a sealed
set 232-1 (released 1978) and many other Homemaker sets from that period.
- I found a mix of parts 3069a and 3069b in a sealed set 690 (released in 1974)

Part 3069b was added to the catalog August 22nd 2002.
In 2009 the following changes were made by 1 member:
- 3069 to 3069a
- 3062b to 3062a (both colors)

Whenever I order things that are on my wanted list and the order arrives and
is checked and completed, it would be nice if the items I just got shipped are
removed from my wanted list, so next time I go shopping it only lists the parts
I still need from my wanted list and not the ones I received in the last (few)
order(s).

Would this be possible for bricklink admins to make changes to the ordering system,
so this can be done automatically? (maybe like a checkbox you can set)

Are there other people who would also like this feature or how do you guys
do this? Do you go through all your wanted lists and delete the items after you've
received your orders, or do you forget to do this and with another order you
order (some) parts double ? (like I have done many times, after which of course
I go through all my wanted lists and remove those parts, to not make the same
mistake again)

1. You can already do that:
  a. within the Wanted List with “Apply Order,”
  b. just after checkout “search items in my wanted lists,”
  c. from the Orders page (a scroll-like icon whose presence depends on a setting
I can’t find)

On My Orders Placed page click Customize display:
https://www.bricklink.com/orderSettingsCols.asp?v=p&viewFrom=O

2. How would BL know if and when you’ve received all the items in the order?

How BL would know? Because I confirmed the order, which means all the parts are
there and the order is checked.
But the options you gave work perfect, the 1st one I haven't used yet, the
2nd one I probably missed when ordering, the 3rd option is perfect.

How'd you know for sure they are scammers? Maybe they are Russians who moved
to the UK, but didn't change their e-mail provider.

I myself have an hotmail.com (US) mailaddress, but live in The Netherlands, so
I would be a scammer too by your definition?

If they pay, it's ok; would be my motto. And yes, if I were you I'd prefer
IBAN as well, as it's a lot more secure than paypal and you as a seller have
a lot more rights, and your own bank has a lot less fees than paypal as well.

  Hi

Would it be possible to block a buyer having an email from a given country eg
Russia, but his postal address is the UK?

Just got yet another scammers ordering from my shop with this very suspicious
config, even got negative from himfeedback from him.

Or a setting that enables us to block and oblige the buyer to pay buy only with
iban

I guess that Europe has this option, because Europe is no nation, but a continent
with different countries... We're not a nation with differen states, so shipping
is different for each country and shipping from like Netherlands to Portugal
(both EU countries) can be a different price if I send from The Netherlands to
Portugal, than if I were to send the same from Portugal to The Netherlands. In
the US all shipping is the same (I guess).

I can however see you'd want an option like that.
As a seller I would also like an option to set prices automatically based on
the last 6 months of sales in my country and not worldwide; which I haven't
found yet, or it doesn't exist either.

As someone often buys pieces for a project in progress, I wanted to suggest that
the search feature allow you to filter by local sellers. This typically provides
a faster delivery, including occasions where I have been able to meet someone
nearby the same day.

I'd be happy enough with being able to filter by state, or cluster of states
in the US. Europe has something very similar to this in being able to search
by individual nation, but for US or Canada, that's functionally no different
than being limited to "Europe in general".

If you navigate through the following you can filter by your own state. It doesn't
help you with what pieces those stores have but you could at least choose the
largest.

SHOP - Stores - Find Stores - choose your country, it then lists all stores
within that country - Filter by your state
