I came across this part today and found it in 2 different colours

Part No: 973pb1705c01 Name: Torso Train, Safety Vest with Train Logo Pattern on Both Sides / Olive Green Arms / Yellow Hands
*
973pb1705c01 (Inv) Torso Train, Safety Vest with Train Logo Pattern on Both Sides / Olive Green Arms / Yellow Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor. {Olive Green}
I looked around and couldn't find any other version of this part listed.
In person it doesn't look faded or anything as it in almost mint-like
condition
Please let me know the best way to proceed.
Thanks!

The listing for this Part # 973pb0282c03. There are 2 different variants.

2006 Print Run for Sets 6209 & 6210 have a black marking on neck, the color of the chest is unique to this set as well as the grey marks.

2009 Print Run for (Gear) Set 852552 has all grey neck, the color of the chest is unique to this set as well as the grey marks.

This needs to be separated to signify different minifigures.

Collectors will want each variant in its own state and is important given the
collectability of this going forward

For me the 21709 is the lower bucket also having different teeth (like 2 gaps).

Since we already have different entries for hinges reflecting different teeth
styles wouldn't it be also recommended to split the

Part No: 30394 Name: Vehicle, Digger Bucket 7 Teeth 3 x 6 with Locking 2 Finger Hinge
*
30394 Vehicle, Digger Bucket 7 Teeth 3 x 6 with Locking 2 Finger Hinge
Parts: Vehicle
into 2 separate
entries?

Furthermore the 21709 is the lower bucket whereas all my 30394 are the taller
ones. (Maybe someone can confirm this as well)

Best

Carsten

Hi,

please split the category "Minifigures: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6" into three separate
categories:

Star Wars Episode 4
Star Wars Episode 5
Star Wars Episode 6

That's how it already works for episodes 1 - 3 and 7 - 9.

The category "Minifigures: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6" includes *by far* the biggest
selection of minifigures in the whole category tree (currently 499).

Since the whole point of separate categories is to increase the handibility of
the interface and thus to create a positive user experience, the current organization
is besides the point.

That becomes especially true if you look e.g. at the category "Pirates I", which
inculdes 4 sub-categories, which include a total of 22 minifigures. Thus, user
navigation becomes unnecessarily complicated by increasing the number of total
objects in the category tree.

That really doesn't make any sense at all.

Please. Look. Think. Change. Thanks!

Best regards,
Brickadeer

I've been going through and uploading all my Duplo to inventory, and came
across a weird discrepancy. I have 2 vintage parts with the 4883 mold stamp,
but an open hitch end like 2312. I also have another 2 that are stamped with
3884, instead of 4883, but are also the open hitch end. See attached photos.

It seems there is a category missing on BL.

Bricks and More

There are LEGO boxes sold under this category

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lego_themes

Bricks and More is a retired theme that was actual from 2009 to 2010

Can an Admin look into this and add it to the list of categories?

There are several sets offered on BL under the Creator category when in fact
they are Bricks and More.

Please leave open for now until others or myself complete this.

I own an instructions dated 1977 but 3 out of 4 of the following sets are released
in 1976.

Please add note for instructions of

Instruction No: 154 Name: Switch Track - 1 Right and 1 Left
*
154-1 Switch Track - 1 Right and 1 Left
Instructions: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V

Instruction No: 156 Name: Straight Track
*
156-2 Straight Track
Instructions: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V

Instruction No: 157 Name: Curved Track
*
157-1 Curved Track
Instructions: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V

Instruction No: 159 Name: Crossover, Straight Rails
*
159-1 Crossover, Straight Rails
Instructions: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V

The instructions for this sets 154-1(version 1977), 156-2, 157-1 and 159-1 are
identical.

I need to find a copy of instructions dated 1976 but I believe it should be similar.

27 Rust on BL consists of parts that are both LEGO's 13 Red Orange and just
regular low-quality red parts.

The Duplo cows that are Dark Orange are most definitely not Dark Orange. Dark
Orange was introduced around 1994-95, not 1979, which reflects Red Orange's
release date as Fabuland heads. Despite the fact that this color is a bit of
a mess, BL Rust should be given to 13 Red Orange, and all Dark Orange Duplo Cows
(parts 4010pb01 and 4010px1) should be moved to Rust, along with all non-cow
"Rust" parts moved to "Red", perhaps with notes about color variation? I cannot
request this change from their catalog entry pages, so I'm doing it here.
No cow I've purchased under the "Dark Orange" color has ever turned out to
be said color, and sellers describe it as more of a "Rust" anyway, which is consistent
with the other "Rust" cows. Furthermore, BL entry photos of these cows, especially
in the case of 4010px1 show that those cows are far from being Dark Orange, and
are certainly Red Orange.

Official LEGO inventory data shows that non-cow "Rust" parts are 21 Bright Red/5
Red. No color exists that directly corresponds to 27 Rust. All inventories containing
"Rust" as an alternate to "Red" should be edited to remove the alternate "Rust"
parts, as official inventory data and information available about LEGO color
IDs show that there is no color that corresponds to BL Rust, similar to how Brittle
Blue is just a variant of Blue.

Changing all Duplo cows (4010pb01 and 4010px1) would help clean up Rust a bit
more, while also helping Dark Orange be a little more accurate in terms of a
release date. 13 Red Orange is one of those colors that doesn't exactly have
its own BL color, but making BL Rust correspond to LEGO Red Orange would help
solve that problem. Years of usage would be 1979-1997 after moving all non-cow
"Rust" parts to "Red" and moving all "Dark Orange" cows to "Rust".

This is 4010px1. Bricklink lists this color as only coming in Dark Orange, which
this obviously is not. Someone added a photo of the cow under the "Rust" color.
