I was 9 years old when my mother bought this beautiful set for me. I chose this
one from a toys store. I had no idea why there were those extra plastics for
at that time.

I would list them as Chrome Gold with a note that specifically states that the
gold coating is fading. After all, the gold is just a color wash over a Chrome
Silver part that can easily disappear over time if handled too much. Some of
your Chrome Silver parts may have been Chrome Gold to begin with.

I like the chrome silver better than the chrome gold for something I am building.
But I found that the chrome silver was much more expensive (and rare).
IF the gold is just a coating over silver, could I turn my chrome gold pieces
into silver?
What should I use to do this? I need to keep the shine as I am using these for
mirrors in the middle of a carousel.

The current Have feature is useless. It's the same as Want.
Easier is to create an Ordered Wantlist and move the items there until they're
received.

I actually find the "Have" feature to be very useful, though I would like an
"Ordeded/Purchased" feature too; I've purchased loads of parts multiple times
accidentally, as I'd forgotten I had already ordered them and didn't
check through my current orders properly. If I could mark wanted parts as "Ordered"
it would save me time. money and storage space.

That's exactly what the Have feature was supposed to do, but it doesn't
subtract anything from Want.

Original submitter of this inventory parted this out in his store inventory, so we can't be 100% certain of the part variant in his set. But he checked and he does have 42876 in his store inventory which probably came from this set.

I got a used copy in very good condition. Even the sprues are there. These parts were extra in the box. I found almost all of them on the models on back of the box.

- The yellow jumper can be seen in two models.
- Two yellow 1*1 plate can be seen on the ship (left-side top) Sorry for the
quality of the image. The yellow plates 4*1, 1*1 and 10*1 are used on each side
of the ship, on the edge.
- Two 1*2 red tiles are used on various red or yellow motorcycles.
- It is likely that on the bottom left-side of model, three yellow 1*1 plates
are used. But the box art is not clear.
I believe three yellow plates 1*1 came with this set. Whether the third is extra
is used on an alternate model is not clear.

Based on your photos the presence of the red 3069b and yellow 3794a is clearly
visible in the alternate models. Can you post photos showing a bit more detail
of the alternate models where the yellow 3024 are used? It would probably be
a bit better visible if you posted close-ups of just those models instead of
the whole back of the box.

Still difficult to see on those photos. Unfortunately those box art photos were
not always very clear. But I think I recognize the 1x1 plates. So I'll accept
this request.
