Any ideas?

I tell you, for as often as I see questions about what this part it in the forums,
BL should put its picture and identifier on the front page for all to see...

  Comparing the pictures of the sandtrooper sw548a with sw895/sw960/sw961, I noticed
that the torso is not identical as listed in the catalog.
The ammo pouch of sw548a is smaller than that of the other three figures. The
triangle in the torso middle is partly covered by sw895/sw960/sw961 but not by
sw548a.

Nice catch! Yep, the torsos are different, and the difference is in the size
of the ammo pouch.

LEGO has the Element ID 6077867 [Mini Upper Part No. 2698] for the torso for
sw548a.

LEGO has the Element ID 6214340 [Mini Upper Part No. 4146] for the torso for
sw894, sw960, and sw961.

Right now, both Element IDs are assigned as BrickLink Part Color Codes (PCCs)
to

Part No: 973pb1746c01 Name: Torso SW Armor Stormtrooper, Narrow Black Ammo Pouch and Tan Dirt Stains Pattern / White Arms / Black Hands
*
973pb1746c01 (Inv) Torso SW Armor Stormtrooper, Narrow Black Ammo Pouch and Tan Dirt Stains Pattern / White Arms / Black Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.

The new torso will need to be added to the catalog, and the newer minifigs will
need their inventories updated.

Cheers,
Randy

  Hello All

The tile pictured comes on key chains but I noticed that it has part number 91873
and could be removed from the key chain without damage.

Should it be in the catalog?

Regards
David

With no pattern:

Part No: 48995 Name: Tile, Modified 3 x 2 with Hole
*
48995 Tile, Modified 3 x 2 with Hole
Parts: Tile, Modified

and patterned ones - specifically the one in your image:

Part No: 48995pb02 Name: Tile, Modified 3 x 2 with Hole with LEGO Logo Large Pattern
*
48995pb02 Tile, Modified 3 x 2 with Hole with LEGO Logo Large Pattern
Parts: Tile, Modified, Decorated
Search for 48995* I think most of the ones from the keychains are listed

That is not the one in his image. I would say that it could definitely be added
to the catalog if you remove it from the keychain.

Randy

Yeah, orientation of the logo is different.

But what about the rest of the keychain, is it considered as LEGO?

I will request the alternate number be added to part 48995 and request that this
tile (removed from the key chain) be added.

thanks for the inputs
David
