| I want to start shipping to other countries. I've wanted to for quite awhile
but it feels like such a pain. 
I'm currently using Pirate ship for shipping and tried filling out their
customs form but it seems like a lot of hassle to do it for every non-domestic
order.
Is there a fast efficient shipping service that makes it easy for shipping non-domestic
orders? Thanks!

| I've created a new shipping method for capes and stickers only and I would
like the insurance to be optional below €20 and mandatory above €20 item value
but the setting I made seems to be incorrect since it adds the €4,75 fee for
both criteria by default while it was set to "by request" for orders
below €20. How should it be set up properly?

| Am I nuts did the dimensions for sticker sheets disappear at some point? I
keep meaning to ask every time someone buys a sheet and I have to invoice them
since it won't go in to a standard shipping method.
Since I'll be pulling from that bin tonight I'll physically add the dimensions
for all the sheets, but I thought they were there back when I first started selling.

More specifically, I use goshippo.com and I am trying to connect my store to

| I just want to see if what I want to do is an option and I just haven't figured
out how to set up my shipping properly.
At the beginning of the year I updated my rates along the with the USPS. I don't
see an option to set up shipping by region. I'm in the central US so shipping
to each coast is not bad (with the exception of CA, everything seems expensive
in CA lol)
So I have instant checkout out for all of the USA up to 4lbs.
I wanted to have more realistic shipping for my home state and neighboring states.
It is about $1+ cheaper and less tiers. However when I use instant checkout and
test the options in my store, everyone's order defaults to cheapest shipping
and they have to manually check the other box for domestic US. So I took off
the instant checkout so it wouldn't be used by people who didn't qualify.
I made an invoice option instead with people in these states able to choose the
lower option. Bricklink then gives the lower estimate but I have to send an invoice.
No one has chosen this option even though I have received multiple orders from
qualifying states.
My question then, as a buyer, do people just prefer the instant checkout? Is
waiting for an invoice not that common anymore? Should I just remove the midwest
tier? Every dollar counts for me, but for buyers is it not worth the wait/time.
They just want to check out and be done?

Recently I had problems with an APO/FPO adress.
Buyer pretend shipment to this address, but my Courrier doesn't ship to an
APO address.
After a few message I ask a new shipping addres, so he sent me a Japan addres,
and pretend the same shipping cost
I refuse, so he want to cancel order with refund.
I complete all, and today he sent me a neg.
Well, my I ask if there any chance to block buyer with an shipping address not
valid.
I hope to NOT offend anybody with this post.

| Hi everyone,
I know it's the responsibility of the seller to ensure the package is delivered.
And if it is lost, I am on the hook for it.
However, I had a customer reach out to tell me they didn't receive the package,
even though USPS shows it was delivered in the mailbox a few days ago.
Is it still my responsibility for the package once it has been delivered?
Any advice is appreciated.

| That Norway is a signatory of EEA and not an EU member state, doesn’t entirely
explain it -
4 Euro vs 37 Euro
Same number of the same part, with the same cart weight of 2.70 grams. So given
the choice, I naturally purchased from the Norwegian member with what is a more
than fair shipping rate offered. I’d buy from both, but I’m done with having
to negotiate a semi-reasonable shipping rate and/or fees, with EU members mostly.
No longer worth the effort.
Straighten out your shipping methods and rates, you’re hemorrhaging sales. Or
don't and let others pick-up those numbers
Just some advise I've long held onto and now don't need to, nothing more.

| A buyer of mine just informed me that his order was out for delivery as of last
Saturday but apparently something has gone wrong. I have attached a screenshot
of the tracking and I don't know what to think of it. The order was fairly
expensive (a single minifigure that was worth quite a large amount) and this
was the buyers first order. My question is: what does this mean? Has the package
been lost or just delayed or what?

I would like to upload the part 18193c02 in my store. However, it is a big one,
so I will definitely not fit into an enveloppe.
The weight is 109g so, if anyone buys it, the system will assign 1,60€ as shipping
method, and I cannot send it at that price, as I will need to send a box. I have
been playing with the shipping options, but I do not know how to fix the issue
and I do not know how to restrict this specific part due to dimensions. I guess
it is in restrictions and adjustments, but I have not been able to do it. Could
anyone please help me with this?

| I'm curious, I ran across a UK seller with parts I'd like but in 5000
sales they have nearly 40 negs. Almost all of them have the seller blaming the
Royal mail service.
About 30 or so are people complaining about either missing orders, or missing
parts, and then the missing parts are mailed and those come up missing.
Basically almost all the bad reviews are claiming the order or replacements never
came and the seller just replies with how they are not responsible.
Almost every reply is a version of "too bad, so sad". I find a
hard time believing this person isn't just ripping people off.
I've shipped, goodness, 6k parcels at least between various platforms and
I've had only 2 vanish. So will someone vouch for this person or are they
full of it?

I am new to this site but trying to locate a set for my daughter’s 18th birthday.
She is autistic and it is the only thing that she wants. The set has sold out
in the UK Lego store here and after contacting the states Lego.com and they are
unable to ship it to the UK even though it is in stock.
How do I know how much the shipping and taxes will be on top of an item please

I have received an order from Norway (I'm based in Belgium). This is only
my 3rd sale on bricklink and the first one that would go outside the EU.
I was looking for what custom forms to fill in (it seems CN22 is fine, package
should be less than 1 KG) and I got confused at the "Incoterms". I think
that I would be shipping this with Bpost, our national postal company. Do I use
the code "DDP" then?

| Hi, i have a question. If i declared the shipping cost from 3-5kg with a price
X and from 5-10 kg with a price Y. So if a person buys a Legoset with 4.85kg
and pay me only the price X for shipping. But packed well are 2kg more in complete

| I just wonder how many of you are experiencing
the same problems with USPS?
- Media Mail very often is scanned 2-3 days
after dropping off at the post office
or not scanned at all. Is it only my local PO?
- I just dropped off a package on 1-3-2024
it was a Priority. It took 6 days to arrive
from IL to Texas like First Class.
Some time ago on Priority shipping label you got
delivery date and it was very accurate. Now it's gone
and it looks like they are doing whenever and whatever
they want
It's so frustrating

| Hi, I´ve been having issues with my local USPS Office. at BLue Lagoon in MIAMI
They said DELIVERED individual picked it up at post office, but is not true,
I dnt live in the USA, I send all my stuff to a freight forward company, they
never go and pick up anything, and if they did they would require an ID
So they responded me and admitted is an issue on their system and they are not
being responsible of changing the status or responding for the missing item
What can I do?

| I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not. While trying to purchase standard
first class postage this week, it's been printing out ground advantage labels.
Allegedly they both take the same amount of time to deliver.
Not sure if any other US based stores are experiencing this and/or if it's
been an issue.

A buyer has purchased it, however has been calculated as UK 2nd class large letter.

The listed dimensions 26 x 19 x 6 cm are outside that of a Large Letter, even
if flattened it is 37.5 x 24.5 x 1 which is still not valid.
How can this be reported/changed?

| Een deel van onze klanten vraagt om verzending als brievenbuspakje. Daarbij hoort
een tracking nummer. We kregen de laatste weken meerdere klachten van klanten
die mededeelde dat de zending volgens track&trace bezorgd was, hetgeen niet het
geval was. Ook zelf heb ik bij de ontvangst van post ervaren.
Ik heb de postbode om verantwoording gevraagd. deze vertelde me dat de postbode
niet meer scant bij bezorging, maar dat de pakjes VOORAF (!) in de sorteercentrale
op bezorgd worden gezet.
Op zich heel bizar, want het is van track&tracve juist de bedoeling dat je weet
in welke status een zending is.
Maar het is nog veel vreemder: Deze zendingen worden 3 tot 6 dagen bezorgd NADAT
ze de status bezorgd hebben gekregen. Logisch dat de ontvanger ongerust wordt.
Zo is de tracking nog wel een bewijs dat de zending verzonden is, maar daar houdt
het dus bij op....

| Twice now instant checkout has charged buyer's less than half what shipping
costs on new set orders. I've infilled the rates and rates on my shipping
page and it has no idea what a set weighs evidently. Any help, suggestions, and
advice is appreciated. It does fine with minifigure orders but gets stupid on
sets. I've disabled instant checkout and feel it's easier to do invoices.
At least I'm not giving my inventory away

| I tried to set up a local shipping option for my store. The problem is I have
other manual invoice options and suddenly those disappeared and all that was
left was In person pickup. I had to get rid of this option and re-enable the
others and then it all worked.
Is it possible to have other manual options or does the system default to the
$0 shipping one for request for invoice ? I am able to have 2 manual options
- Economy & Priority , so I'm baffled why I cannot have a 3rd option for
local pickup. Anyone have any ideas about this? Just wondering how many options
you can have on a store.

I've had my first damaged box during shipment in the 3 years that I'm
active as a seller now. The customer asks for a compensation (which is correct,
of course). He's asking for a 50 % discount of the original value of the
set.
The set was a Star Wars 75336 BD-1 set. My question for you is what do you think
a valid percentage would be. The box was banged up pretty good.

It's a bigger package 5kg. It was paid via Paypal, send with courier.
In few days I think it will be send back to me...the buyer is not responsive.
How to respond on this, next move with BL in Paypal? I wil have costs with shipping

| I'm just getting my store set up. I have several "new in box" sets,
and I'm wondering what the best way to ship them should be. Especially sets
that have a larger/ awkward size that doesn't easily fit into another box.
Do I just need to buy a larger box to ship it in? Should I charge extra for
shipping because I had to get a special box for it? Is there a better way?

| Hi, two shipping issues in one week, let's see how this one goes. Buyer
says he did not receive package, tracking says picked up by individual at the
post office. Was single $25 minifigure sent via Ground Advantage. Have opened
a claim with USPS but wanted to see what the experienced among you say. Am I

| Hi, I am a seller and a recent international order was damaged. The buyer sent
me the pics and it looks like the package was run over. The package and label
are clearly damaged. I will gladly insure packages if requested and paid for
but this package did not have insurance. The buyer wants a refund and it's
like $40. Do I have to refund the shipment? I feel for the buyer for sure but
not sure I have to take the hit here. I do have in my shipping terms that if
you don't buy insurance then I am not responsible but maybe that is not true.
Any help would be appreciated.

| hi, i was purchasing some parts for my leopard tank moc; the prices for the parts
were attractive, but my gut tied itself a knot when i saw the exorbitant shipping
fees. my moc had 1500 pieces, and according to easy buy i had to buy these parts
from 7 different sellers. i live in singapore, the sellers lived in netherlands,
sweden, uk, germany etc
each of these sellers required at least a US$10 shipping fee, most were $30
or smth like that. the parts itself cost around $150, but in the end another
$100 shipping fee was added on top.
why? my parts are all small sized, with the largest piece being a 6x10 plate.
is it just because i live in singapore? idk why, this is my first time purchasing
bricks from bricklink
i might even resort to webrick if i cant resolve this

| Hello everyone,
I just recently decided to ship Lego internationally. And I wanted to add a cheap
letter mail option for minifigures. In the Netherlands, I can just ship these
minifigures in a bubble envelope and that won't cause any trouble. But I
read online that sending items in an envelope marked as letter mail internationally
is not allowed anymore. It needs to be marked as a small parcel which is significantly
more costly. But I see that some shops still offering letter mail internationally.
So I am confused as to what is possible. I would hate to use the letter mail
option just to get it sent back or held up at customs.

have no problem with this but need to know how to change the shipping charges
from American to International. Currently I just have postage at $5.25 for ground
advantage so am unsure how to bypass this for international rates. Any help would

| Hello,
I have sent and received several packages from outside the US. I don't
know if its a new thing, but when I went to ship an order today, Insurance was
not available. I then learned that you can not insure orders over $100. That
does not make since to me, if anything, those are the orders you would want insurance.
I don't want it to happen, but I would be a lot better off having a $10 order
being lost, but having a $400 order that you can not get insured for loss or
damage.
Guess my question is, how is everyone else handling this. If I ship a $300
order to Japan and something goes wrong, PayPal is going to refund the buyer
and I would be out $300 bucks, right??

| I have Instant Checkout enabled, but I can't really get it to work well for

| I emailed the help desk about this but they are busy making sure everyone regains
access to the site and they said they can't help with my request.
I have received two messages from potential buyers asking if I sell to their
state even though I thought I have my shipping set to all of the US.
When I viewed my store not logged in, it said it didn't ship to my state.

| Hi all. I'm a newbie to selling here on Bricklink. I'm trying to set
up my shipping and I'm unsure about how the system works to automatically
offer shipping options to buyers. For example, I want different shipping prices
for 1-4 oz, 5-8 oz, 9-12 oz, 13-16 oz, 1 lb, 2 lb, etc. using Ground Advantage.
I also want to offer the option of priority mail. Will the system know how
much an order weighs and can offer the buyer appropriate options? Do I instead
need to set up invoicing for options? Thanks in advance.

| Good evening BrickLink,
I'd like to give stores a heads-up on sending an envelope to the United Kingdom.
The last orders by envelope gave problems, because of the lack of a CN22 form.
Apparantly it is necessary to stick such a form to a envelope too, also if the
envelope only contains an instruction.
I decided to stop shipping envelope orders to the UK for now, because of the
risk of paying twice the shipment costs.

| If I go to visit my store, there's a little box in the upper left that says
I won't ship to New Jersey (where I currently live). I'm not sure why
that says that, and I'm not sure how to turn that off.

| A postage label printed this morning (USPS via Pirate Ship / Pitney Bowes) has
a new scatter-type bar code to the left of the address lines. I would have missed
it, had it not also been printed on the postage paper, below the actual label.
Anyone know what it’s for ?

| So 3 weeks ago I decided to add a local pick-up option to my shipping list. Since
then I have consistently had 2-3 orders per DAY by people all over the country
selecting that as their shipping option. What am I missing? Is there a setting
I should have chosen that would deter non-locals from selecting that option?
For other sellers who have a local pick-up option, how many of your other orders
are you having to send out shipping invoices to? How do you keep buyers from
defaulting to that selection?
I was trying to make things easier, but at this point having to send out multiple
invoices a day, keep track of who has paid and who hasn't, while running
the rest of the business has become a major hassle. Any help and advice would
be great.

I'm looking at setting up instant checkout for my store, but I would like
to know how to change shipping prices should they be wrong (more so for when
the instant check out shipping cost is less than the actual cost of shipping)
before I go ahead and set it up.
Also if I have a large letter option, and a parcel option and someone selects
the large letter for something that won't fit, can I change that option too
after the order has been paid for since its an instant check out. How often does
this sort of thing happen?

| I shipped something to a US military base a couple weeks ago. USPS tracking indicates
it hasn’t been delivered. I haven’t heard anything from the buyer, but I’m becoming
concerned. Is this normal or should I contact them myself? I’ve read that sellers
shouldn’t harass buyers about changing the order status, so I’m reluctant to
make contact without proper cause.

| I have about 40 32x32 baseplates I'd like to add to my store. Problem is
that I'm not sure of the best way to ship them. Do sellers just typically
ship them in large bubble envelopes or boxes? Large envelopes seem the most economical
but I'm concerned about damage to the plates. Boxes seem the most safe but

| Thanks in advance for anyone who can help with this.
I've been a seller for a couple weeks now. I have 2 shipping options - USPS
Ground Advantage and Request for Quote. All orders up til now have been Ground
Advantage, and this option works great. Today I got my first Request for Quote
(RFQ). PROBLEM: when I go to My Store / Quotes, the RFQ is not listed. So I can't
give a quote.
I'm guessing that I haven't set up my RFQ shipping option correctly.
AND I'm guessing the problem is in the 'Destination & Base Rate"
section. [FYI, under Management / Store Inventory Options, I DO have "Accept
Quote Requests" checked.]

| Hi all, just wondering if it would be worth it to setup international shipping.
I'm in Australia in case you're wondering.
I know I don't have the biggest store, but I do have some older items that
are harder to come by (which has to count for something right).
Just wondering if it would be worth it to set up International shipping or if
the potential headaches that come out of shipping internationally are not worth
it.
Or should I wait until I have a larger store, or just not ship internationally
at all?

| Good morning!
We need some advice. Can we easily ship Lego from the UK to Australia?
I was stopped by Royal Mail’s post office as it is considered a toy and considered
restricted goods.
I’ve cancelled and refunded that order to minimise issues but I wondered if anyone
else had solutions for the future.
Also, how do I change the map in the shipping terms to remove Australia? I removed
it from the shipping options but it is still showing that we ship to 100% of
customers when we would like to remove Australia all together?

| If the buyer didn't request tracking and the seller has a receipt proving
it was shipped at the post office (in this case from Canada to the USA) but the
package still hasn't arrived after 4 weeks according to the buyer...how does
this usually get resolved if the seller has no way of confirming that the buyer
didn't actually receive the items?

| So, this morning I needed to ship a 4-oz package to zone 7, customer specified
PM. Using my own packaging (6x4x2) PS quoted me $9.55. Using a small flat-rate
box, PS quoted me $8.10. D’oh! And I get use packaging provided by USPS. Sweeeet
!

| Hello -
I'm shipping for the first time to Puerto Rico using Pirate Ship. I filled
in the info for the customs form, but I don't see how to print it. All that
printed was the shipping label.
I checked Pirate Ship's FAQ, but the info wasn't clear. It says "For
packages under 1 pound, you may not be prompted to fill out a customs form for
the locations listed above."
Mine is 5 ounces and it did prompt to complete the form, but it didn't print.
If someone could give me some tips on sending to Puerto Rico using Pirate Ship,
I'd appreciate it.

| Within just the last month I have had two parcels miss sorted and sent in entirely
different directions / states. One from NC to NJ goes to Florida first, and
another from NC to CA goes to Guam, then Hawaii before being delivered to final
destination.
Has any other sellers had trouble this month? Is there something I'm doing
that is causing this? Anyone have a link that discuss or explain this issue?

| Hi there, we have different domestic shipping methods. One of them is personal
pickup, which of course does not charge shipping. Since this is naturally the
cheapest shipping method, it is always suggested to customers as default. Since
just many customers do not really look closely at the checkout, choose pickup,
but live very far away and want shipping. Then you always have to write to the
customer and ask for the shipping costs, which is quite time-consuming. In the
help texts it says that you can set a "default shipping method". But
I can't find this option in the store settuings. Anybody got an idea?

| Okay, here's a new one for me:
I shipped a package to Spain and it has been returned because "Failed To
Meet Export Regulations and Name Matches Denied Party/Entity". After I lifted
the green postal sticker I was able to see that the buyer's name had been
circled with a red wax pencil. I took the package to my local USPS depot and
asked what I did wrong, how I can correct the issue, future reference info and
was told that it had to do with the recipient and not the customs deceleration
(small electronics for toys, no batteries).
Considering the fact that this buyer's name is probably one of the most common
in Spain, think David Smith, I'm not sure if that is true. Can someone out
there give me a little perspective? Considering this is my 3rd returned international
package in 3 months I'm getting a little paranoid and considering turning
off international shipping altogether. (First was to Venezuela for prohibited
shipping list, 2nd was this same package for lack of description on customs deceleration.)

| Canada Post is once again offering to ship one parcel item every Tuesday in October
within Canada.
So if you are interested in buying larger items (sets, empty boxes or any
LEGO pieces over 2 cm thick) but don't like to pay the expensive shipping
I have 4 Tuesdays available for free shipping.
Unfortunately this year it does not look like they are offering the free shipping
to the US.
To take advantage, just place an order and request the free shipping. The 5
free shipping Tuesdays will be based on a first come first serve basis (If you
are the 5th order you can always cancel!)
It is always nice to pass this deal on to buyers!

| I had someone in France ask for a shipping quote for a single mini-fig. Is USPS
International First Class Package the best I can do? It is $15.75.
Envelope rate is reasonable, but I don't think it qualifies.

| Although on my site it is very clear that the hand delivery provides a minimum
amount the buyer in question has repeatedly tried to the limit of the stalker
to come to my house to pick up a brochure for the assembly of a helicopterpresent
in my shop value 1.5 euros to my refusal he got angry and posted a negative feeback
I do not recommend having to deal with this gentleman

| Recently I sold a couple hundred dollar set to a buyer in the US (I'm located
in Canada).
The package ended up at a UPS pickup point 6 minutes away from from the buyer.
I messaged the buyer multiple times with the tracking number / pickup location
/ etc etc. No response from the buyer. It's now been sitting there long
enough that it's at the 'return to sender' point. I've messaged
the buyer about refunding and restocking fees, but still no reply.
I've never had this happen before, so I guess all I can do at this point
is sit and wait for UPS to ship it back to me ?

| I want to make my shipping less busy looking. I am trying to condense 8 methods
into 3 or 4.
I want to offer free shipping, ground shipping, custom (customer can request
overnight shipping, two day shipping, etc.), and request a quote.
Try as I may this morning I have not been able to figure out how to do this.
I want at the final step of the checkout to show at least two options.
1. The instant checkout option and price.
2. The option to request custom handling.
Is it possible or am I just fouling up my shipping methods?

| Hello,
i am looking forward to buy multiple Sets at once, which amounts to 5 sets, 796
unique pieces and a total amount of 3447 pieces.
Because not all parts are available in every shop, they are allocated to 8 different
shops.
Is there any way for me, to "bundle" the parts, so that i get them sorted
for the associated set?
Like, Shop one sends me 1 package with 5 bags or something?
Is the "Wanted List" communicated to the shops themself?
Or am i better off just sending 5 different orders and paying shipping multiple
times?

| Royal Mail will increase their postage prices in October.
2nd class large letter will increase from £1.15 to £1.55 buy stamps now.

| Hi All,
I just opened my shop in Co.Cork, Ireland and was hoping to offer collection
as an option for locals. I can't see any option to add this method at check
out.
Does anyone have this set up and if so how do I go about it?

| Hello everyone I have Been a bricklink seller for a month now and would like
the help of figuring shipping labels.
For the past month I been buying the shipping labels at the post office in my
area.
But I have been seeing most bricklink sellers using there own printer to make
there shipping labels.
So I need to know if it’s cheaper to print your own the shipping labels and if
yes what is the best website to print your own shipping labels?
So what are your recommendations?
