I hadn't thought about new stores wanting to announce, or buyers struggling
with first order.
I was lucky and had an easy induction to bricklink life.

Maybe it isnt that much of a problem, it was just yesterday on the forum there
were hundreds of identical messages regarding passports

A system that limits the amount of posts per day for new accounts would probably
reduce spam and give admins time to shut down spammers accounts without hurting
new people that need help. I don't know how practical it would be for BL
to implement though.

  Hi,

I don't use the forum very often, but was on yesterday and was annoyed by
the amount of spam that was flying around offering passports etc.

Can i suggest that the forum is restricted to members who have received some
(one) positive feedback for either a purchase or sale.

This would prohibit people from just registering and posting SPAM.

What if someone has a question on their first order? Or a problem with their
first order? You would cut off one of the best ways to get help for new people.
All so you don't occasionally have to see spam on an internet forum...

  That's not the same feature.

No, but it gives the results he wants until it gets changed.

That sounds like a different function.

You can currently click the "delete" box on the minifigs before you hit the first
verify button to remove them from the part out value.

My Store/ Part out/ put in set #, hit submit for edit/ scroll down to minifigs,
click the "delete" button next to each minifig/ Click the "verify items" button.
The minifigs will not be in the part out value shown on the next screen.

  Hello, Admins

I sell all the parts from sets, but keep the minifigs.
Would it be possible to add a third option to the "Price Guide\Part Out Value\Include"
drop down that excludes the minifig parts?

This will allow me to obtain an average price for only the parts of a set and
sell them as one lot.

Many thanks and regards,
Dan

How many deaths could have been avoided over the lifespan of Bricklink? We should
hold Bricklink accountable for any suicides that have happened during the time
they have been thoughtlessly not saying please and thank you for people paying
them for providing a service...Wait, that sounds kinda ridiculous...

So many stores... could they be organized into new sellers, used, and, set sellers?
As there are some that specialize in these areas. I find it time consuming to
find reputable used brick sellers. I like to find parts from simpler times 1980's
before the franchises took over

If you click on search you can specify between New and Used. I think that would
fix your problem of finding used sellers?

Haven't been using the forum much on Bricklink, but the recent change of
Average Price removal got me to want to discuss that topic.

And the forum is very poorly implemented, impossible to follow a thread or get
a overview of current topics.

So my suggestion is a modern forum, that works like most other forums, i don't
know what the current is, something from the 90:s ?

Is using the "Entire thread on one page" feature what you are looking for?
