How to search for parts of a specific color, with a sticker attached on them?

“Orange 3001* sticker*” would find all orange 3001 parts that have a sticker
or stickers but brickognize is usually the fastest option

Could you make a tutorial on your channel some time on how to use brickognize?

I can’t seem to figure it out.

Step 1 go to website. Step 2 upload/take picture. Step 3 see results.

It can be quite complex...

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou
Take out the Holy Pin then
Shalt thou count to three no more no less
Three shalt be the number thou shalt count
And the number of
The counting shall be three four
Shalt thou not count
Nor either count thou two
Excepting that thou then proceed to
Three five is right out
Once the number three, being the third
Number, be reached, then
Lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of
Antioch towards thy foe, who, being
Naughty in My sight, shall snuff it"

Well crap I'm old enough to get this reference. Just bought it on VHS lol

There's no logo inside the stud; dimensions are 3x3 studs.
Thanks!

It looks like a homemade LED light assembly.

Agreed, looks like someone made a "lampshade" with a light in it.

That's annoying!

I am working on designing a MOC that requires the hollow stud variant of this

hollow stud version before I order.

sadly I've found you should probably do this anyway, as many sellers don't
bother with variants even with separate listings.

Bionicle why have prices gone silly ?

i have just sold a collection of Bionicle sets, my question is why have prices
gone up so high on some sets ? i never brought Bionicle items before because
i did not rate it much, but now it might be worth buying some more ? does anybody
know why ? is it because Lego is not making any more, should i go for sealed
sets ? or loose lots ? maybe both ? i await to read some reply's . thank
you

The age range has come into fun money. I predicted this years ago lol

I do agree the prices have gotten completely stupid, I rarely find good deals
now

Crystal

have you checked out vintage gi joe figures...
pricing on those went insane too

Omg YES

My fav story is I was throwing away these little toys I got in an old lot of
LEGO, that were not LEGO

Then I found a MOTU (He Man) staff I recognized as being worth some $ so I decided
to check the other misc toys and low and behold the little guns I had been chucking
were G.I. Joe and I ended up dumping out my garbage to retrieve them and I got
something like $10-25 a piece (there were very old) I have no doubt the 90's
G.I. Joe stuff is also getting stupid, I bid on a few lots recently and could
never win them.

I flip vintage toys in general, so I'm always watching the market on various
stuff. I don't get to flip many "male" toys because they are nearly
impossible to get in bulk, too much competition. I do occasionally find some
MOTU and Transformers by just having an eye that recognizes it in unrelated lots.

I sell alot of FP and MLP and you can watch the popularity spike right around
20 years for self collecting, and 25 years for "I want my kids to play with
this too". Bionicle is in the self collection stage. lol

Not knowing which set it is exactly, but just generally speaking 1960's and
70's basic type sets are honestly not terribly valuable. There are some collectors,
as there is for eveything that exists, but not a lot of them in contrast to how
many sets still exist. Boxes and paperwork can be a little more valuable, but
again, there isn't a huge demand for sets of that era. You should post pics

They should have exchanged them for current stamps which Royal Mail will only

I did this with those that I hadn’t used yet.

no one reads anything. The buyers aren't seeing it.

Or they don't care they want it "now".

My most used manual invoice is labeled "whatever is cheapest" and I do
occasionally get people that go around instant checkout and use that instead,
but it's not many.

This kinda makes sense if its 2 packages with the same tracking. Which is what
I suspect here. Either way that's hilarious.

I've had something flop around in Los Angeles once for far too long before

I thought parcels backtracking through Memphis all the time was bad. The second

  Hello,
Can someone help me learn how to find the inner plain cardboard box for an original
Lego box? For example, in 2002 some sets had a plain inner box that was inside
of the colorful "regular" box.

I am assuming that there were a set of standard sizes that were used by multiple
different sets and that should make finding the inner box easier than finding
the outer box for some sets... but I am having trouble finding "inner box"
listings on BL or anywhere else.

Thanks!

I've listed innners and plastic trays a number of times over the years. I
just list them under the original listing for the box.

Best bet is to find sellers that specialize in boxes (theres like, 5 of us, lol)
and follow their listings, have email notifications on for boxes you want etc.

Boxes can sometimes take years if not decades to locate. I know my personal collection
certainly did

Is it still my responsibility for the package once it has been delivered?

Any advice is appreciated.

Nope, not your problem. If it was, every scammer on the planet would claim this.

I've been having carriers mark things as delivered and then delivering them
days later (guess because of time quotas??) UPS is worse but my postal carrier
does it too when shes swamped. It may still show up.

Do the refund, let the customer know, so they can call their card company, and

If its legit, they shouldn't mind doing this.

no no, didn't you see his post? His buyers just need to relax because

After the initial spike, sets don't actually tend to go up much, they simply
keep up with inflation. Which can look like prices rising, but it really isn't.
I would sell it. Personally.

I might still be willing to accept the fact that a mistake has been made and
allow the seller to address it. Before leaving a negative feedback I might message
the seller, letting know my intentions in advance. Not meant as a threat, but
more as a last-resort in an effort to get the seller's attention.

How it is worse than leaving a negative FB right away?

I think what infinibrix is saying is that buyers shouldn't have to threaten
to leave negative feedback in order to get the seller to perform their basic
responsibilities. If you have to threaten negative feedback to get the seller
to act, then they already deserve it.

Of course, what deserves negative feedback is very subjective. I wouldn't
leave negative feedback if my order is mostly complete yet missing a few small
pieces, but some buyers are more forgiving of small mistakes than others.

If you haven't looked at this stores Feedback. I'm inclined to side with
the buyer here. Also the horrible childish replies to the upset customers tells
me all I need to know.

OP you are the problem, not your buyers. I've literally never, not once had
a customers complain about quality of parts sent and you have, Alot.

The idea that you have some sort of "gotcha" on this buyer is, yeesh

Not sure how this helps you but:
On behalf of that buyer, I acknowledge receipt of the pictures and express my
gratitude.

  Needless
to say, this is NOT a desirable buyer.

Who is a desirable buyer? The guy who just pays and leaves a positive feedback?

How do I block such individual?

What a seller should learn is why a buyer wants photos and when and where to
take photos.
Many times, it does not make sense to take photos:
- a used set of 200 pieces. The description "parts in good condition"
should be enough in most cases. You cannot take photos of all parts from all
angles. But some times, one photo of printed parts or stickers would do the job
and help buyer trust the condition and your description.
Sometime newbies don't know that if a couple of items are in bad condition
or missing, I still send them. So I aknowledge in my response "if a mistake
happen and there is any missing or broken part, I will send you missing parts".
In some cases, they committed to buy even though I did not send any photo (I
remember once this happen for used set 928).

- when it comes with the condition of box and instructions, it totally makes
sense for a buyer to want to see photos. They are paying more to buy the set
with box, so they have to see photos beforehand.

Despite what other people said, between 25-50% of times, the users who request
photos commit to buy from me.

I suggest you focus on learning and understanding buyers' needs, rather than
stop-listing some users for such reasons.

Thank you for the wisdom. However, in this modern day and age, it's very
easy to 'acknowledge' receipt of the pictures and say 'Thank You".
It costs absolutely nothing. I am not concerned about the lost sale, as this
hobby is NOT my livelihood. It is the wasted time as, in addition to taking pics,
I invested time in checking inventory, sorting parts, ... etc

You probably can use the pictures in the future.

This is what I do. If I feel another person may ask, I'll take the pics.
I figure I'll use them eventually.

I know you are annoyed, which is why I hardly send pics anymore... but give it
a day or a week. I've had such buyers just magically reappear and then make
the purchase anyway. I'm guessing either they got paid or a personal issue
resolved.

Your feedback shows you quite a habit of sending buyers incomplete orders. I
doubt the underlying issue here is BL.

Maybe this one? Seems to have the right number according to its inventory:

Set No: 044 Name: Jumbo Bricks
*
044-2 (Inv) Jumbo Bricks
30 Parts, 1969
Sets: Samsonite: Jumbo Bricks

However without the box it's only as valuable as its individual parts - which,
don't get me wrong, are valuable.

Would bricklink be the best market for this items? or should I find a local person?
I'm in Minneapolis.

I'll need to learn how bricklink works I've only used other sites for
a few items in the past.

Some of the bricks are very dirty from age. I assume soap and a toothbrush to
clean them will be ok?

I think I might part the extra bricks out if its possible?

Hiya, I'm also a full time picker when I'm not selling LEGO here. This
is honestly probably an ebay item. Auctions are specifically for items you do
NOT know the value of. A place like Bl is for items you know the value of.

If you list it here, you'll have to start high and slowly move the price
down if you want top dollar. Otherwise you can just guess.

The value here is mainly the box, IMO people will pay ridiculous amounts for
boxes, and I must say, that one looks pretty decent. Most people seem to only
want 1 or 2 of these bricks for display or novelty purposes.

Its a great find. I'm envious.

This mask genuinely keeps me up at night. It shouldn't exist, and yet...

This mask came to me from a guy here in NZ, who owned it since he was a kid.
His parents owned a toy shop in the 2000s, which might be relevant. He claims
he never painted, dyed, or otherwise modified this piece, and sold it to me as
a sundamaged white Hau. I have no clue what it is.

Theory 1: Prototype/Test Tan Hau
Counterpoint: the mask is white underneath, note the small scratches around the
mouth stud showing white plastic.

Theory 2: Sun Damage
Counterpoint: the colouration is perfect. No inconsistency whatsoever, all facets
are equally tan. Coverage is also perfect, even inside the mouth stud, all facets
of the grills, the inside of the mouth hole etc.

Theory 3: Modified white Hau
Counterpoint: sole previous owner is just as confused as I am, and genuinely
believed it was just sun damaged. He had no idea how said damage would have occurred,
he just assumed it was once white and copped some sun.

Help?

What is often called 'sun damage' is not actually caused by the UV light
in sun beams, although might help to speed up the process. It is a chemical change
of the plastic or additives inside the plastic itself and may show throughout
the part. So theory 2 sounds about right.

I see this every day in my kitchen: only a year after buying, my white microwave
started showing a tan front and a white button whilst before they were the same.
Both plastics must have different composition and age differently.

I have a sneaking suspicion that cold temps and/or humidity play a role. I spent
35 years in a hot desert climate, never had a brick change, literally never,
even my childhood bricks from the 70's, never changed,

I moved climates to a cold, wetter place 3 years ago, bricks have been changing
on me left and right, even newly listed ones I remember being white.

Unfortunately Fabuland figs don't disassemble easy, they don't have part
out entries. You'll have to buy a second one to tear apart

I actually just listed a Fabuland fig that's damaged, to be a part out figure,
but hes not the same color you need

When re-selling a used set with the instructions included, if they were never
folded originally, is it acceptable to fold them when shipped with the set, or
is that frowned upon? I have some sets with larger instruction booklets, and
while the sets themselves may not take up much space, if I don't fold the
instructions then I would require a much larger box. If I were to fold the instructions
in half, is that something I am expected to disclose in the item listing, or
is folding instructions something that is generally acceptable and does not need
to be indicated?

I sell a lot of instructions.

Its very important to not fold them. In fact you may want to include a backing
board, even if this raises your shipping cost.

Keep trying. Programs tab then current programs. Select what you want, which

Yes, this was my experience also. I was able to click on 2 different sets, ignored
the pop-up, and had both in my cart at LEGO.com when I got there.

~Jen

I just got a message from LEGO telling me my order was confirmed. And then another
that the items were 'Out of Stock'.

Are we going to get one of these every few weeks again like last time??

~Jen

I got a processing email and now a confirmation, no out of stock email...yet?
