| Suggestion from Matt of White Horse Bricks, in response to my query below:
It would be great if they could be listed against each other as 'alternate
part numbers' in the same way as some parts do.
It would need to be in a way that the search engine and wanted lists point to
both so that people searching in sets get the part listing and vice versa.

I have several new, sealed power functions pieces. They have a set number, and
then a different part number, but it is the same single item.

If a buyer is looking for the part, will the single part set also appear? If
not, how do I suggest an addition to the listings pointing out that they are

Yes, and if you "churn" inventory, downloading all, editing, and re-uploading,
all the dates change to the re-upload date. We do this every 6 months or so
to update pricing, so the dates are irrelevant.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. When you are on the Price Guide
page, where you key in the set number on the right side to get part out value,
look to the left side of the page, under "View Price Guide Info". The Item Type
drop down menu has an option for "Set". You can key in the set number and get
the price guide/average sales value of the set as a whole.

| I would love to have checkboxes for "no additional fees" and "charges actual
postage only" when searching to buy, both individual items and for the wanted
list search. Alternatly, a max additional fee amount would be good. And a pipe
dream of "shipping included", since I don't know if any other stores are
offering this.
It would let me (and my customers) know if the store I'm looking at is *really*
offering the lowest price, or if they are going to tack on several dollars worth
of lot fees, handling fees, packaging fees, etc. In which case, the forth, fifth,
or tenth store down the list would be a better deal for me. Yes, I can find
this info in the store terms, but I have to go through each one to do so.
If I had checkboxes for
[] No additional fees
[] Free shipping
I am sure that it would drive many more customers to my store, who never get
to see OOO_Shiny pop up in their search results otherwise.
It would also encourage more stores to have these policies, which I really believe
benefit the customers, and would improve the overall bricklink experience.

| Since we pick before invoicing, we have a designated shelf for "Invoiced and
awaiting payment". It doesn't matter to us if an order sits there for a
few extra days while an e-check clears, if that makes it easier for our customers
to decide to buy from us.
And yes, I WOULD really like a "Payment pending" status option, since I have
had 2 of our e-check buyers not realize that their payment was being held by
paypal when I sent them a "Hey, FYI, shipment will be delayed while payment clears"
email.

| I've had a few situations where I would like the opportunity to attach an
image to messages to other members. Usually to confirm that the condition of
a used part is acceptable to my customer and/or is the color they are looking
for, and occasionally to send a photo of my cat.
Would anyone else find value in this functionality?
