The answer is that whoever posted the problem first (if it's the same problem?)
posted with a narrow subject, so even if someone looks, they don't see a
post saying "Is the site down?"

Why don't nobody check the least 5 or 10 messages BEFORE creating it's
own post thread?

But hey, thanks for confirming!
Mmmmh, that may mean something about a cookie or such?

Did a little searching... looks like it will be easy-peasy to tell the difference
on the box. I would agree with a -2 entry, to keep prices from blurring together.

Thanks!

I've been reading elsewhere that LEGO changed the box art, and presumably
sticker sheet, for set 42141 (McLaren F1).

I don't see any notations about this in the Bricklink catalog entry. Will
there be a dash1 and dash2 entry ... eventually? How long does it typically take
for such to happen?

thanks!

Ok, I need help. I've got two Mace Windu minifigures, but the heads are slightly
different. One has dark gray cheeklines, while the other they are black. More
importantly, one has a closed stud on top, the other open/blocked stud.

I cannot find both entries in the catalog ... just one.

Help!

So then the question is ... what is the procedure to ask for a change in the
catalog?

The inventory for Ship in a Bottle shows these two parts:

Part No: 61287pb001 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb001 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

Part No: 61287pb002 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb002 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Reddish Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

...both indicating that the print of the continents should be Reddish Brown.

I recently tried to purchase the halves from a Bricklink Seller, only to receive
Brown continents, as per

Part No: 61287pb005 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Dark Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb005 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with the Americas and South Pacific Dark Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated
and

Part No: 61287pb006 Name: Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Dark Brown Globe Pattern
*
61287pb006 Cylinder Hemisphere 2 x 2 with Cutout with Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia Dark Brown Globe Pattern
Parts: Cylinder, Decorated

In discussing the situation with the seller, they said they had "Parted Out"
4 such Ship in Bottle sets, yet all the globe pieces in their inventory (including
another 3 or 4 pairs they already had) were the same ... Brown!

Is there some way to verify if the globes in the set might have been different
print colors throughout the manufacture run of Ship in a Bottle?

If you have a Ship in a Bottle set built, take a look at what color the continents
are for you ... perhaps Brown is a valid Alternate that should be added to the
inventory?

Looks like this should be an alternate. I built 1 and parted out 6, none of
them reddish brown continents.

Thanks for the explanation.

So yes, the notes and Alternate Parts section does have the alternate parts,
but these aren't just alternate parts. This is a complete change in inventory
count. There should be at a minimum a notation in the main entry itself ...
and possibly a 10214-2 catalog entry entirely so that the part counts match.

How does one go about requesting such a change?

I was Googling for some pictures of the LEGO Tower Bridge, set 10214. What I
find interesting, is that there are two different versions of the set BOX --
with one version showing 4287 pieces, and another version showing 4295 pieces.

The catalog entry here shows 4287. Yet, there is no supplemental information
as to what happened?

If anything, the box art WITHOUT the tree in the corner, but instead showing
the Expert label/icon, looks like the more recent box. And it is the one showing
4295 pieces.

Is the catalog entry here not up to date?

Well, at least I have found one item with reduced clicks from before ... and
that is to see Orders Received.

Before, I had to click on my Profile, then in the popup menu click Orders Received.

Now, I just click on "My Store" icon in upper-right corner, and presto ... my
Orders Received is shown.

Hint: Don't hover or wait for a popup menu nor look/click anything in there
... just click the icon directly.

I find it is now EASIER to get to the list of Received Orders.

Just click the "My Store" icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Don't
hover and wait for the popup menu or bother choosing something from it ... just
click the icon and it'll take you directly to your My Orders page.

In Suggestions, brox999 writes:
After you have posted feedback for an order that has been shipped used to be
one click to take you back to orders received after feedback confirmed so you
could leave feedback for next order, now its not so easy to get back to list
of received orders.

Another option could be ability to post feedback for multiple orders like you
can do on ebay where you scroll down and put in feedback then post it all together.

Oh, wow, I actually have a piece that isn't in his photo collection:

Part No: 3688 Name: Slope 75 2 x 2 x 2 Quadruple Convex
*
3688 Slope 75 2 x 2 x 2 Quadruple Convex
Parts: Slope

...only, in YELLOW: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3688&idColor=3#T=P&C=3

(I don't know how to get the part above to render preview in that color,
though.)

where they need a tons of bricks?

Bricklink has this sorta form-email "Coupon Message" that it sends whenever you
give out a coupon. I've gone and customized that email message to my liking.

I am officially requesting that Bricklink add a coupon Macro Tag that would
allow me to highlight how long the coupon is good for
... perhaps to show
an expiration date, or even just the number of days until expiration.

While most of the time I'm issuing a coupon good for a few weeks/months (and
my email template says so), I'd like to be able to throw out occasional short-term
coupons - perhaps only lasting 5-7 days. I wouldn't want someone to receive
the email, and think they've got oodles of time, only to find the coupon
expired when they go to use it. And without such a tag, there is zero information
in the email message about expiration.

I know the expiration date can be seen in Bricklink, but people are lazy (I sometimes
am) and probably aren't going to go look for that info right away. Instead,
if someone gets this coupon email, I'd like the expiration date to be prominently
displayed (if I so choose, using this tag I'm requesting here).

Please support my request for this feature. Thanks!

P.S. I'm already using the CouponNote field to better describe why they are
getting the coupon (i.e. "Valued Customer" or "Give us a try" or "Limited Offer",
etc). So I cannot overload the use of this with the expiration date/days I seek.
