I got this in a bulk bin of Legos which contained a bunch of parts but this part

Any chance someone could help me identify the correct set number? I think it
could be Star Wars but I'm probably wrong. Many thanks for any help.

Looks like:

Set No: 75040 Name: General Grievous' Wheel Bike
*
75040-1 (Inv) General Grievous' Wheel Bike
249 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2014
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 3

A user is refusing to pay for an order they placed. I went through the problem
order process and cancelled the order without realising I wasn’t processing a
NPB. So I’m now worried they’re going to leave me bad feedback in response. How
can I un-do this to go the correct way and blocking them from ruining my feedback
score?

It's not always necessary to trigger a NPB process (I only do this if I really
don't hear from the buyer in weeks).
If a buyer tells me that he/she doesn't want the order anymore, I simply
cancel it with reason "mutual agreement", with no costs for the buyer
of course.
In order to "prevent" negative feedback (why should they leave a negative
feedback? you did them a favor and canceled the order), simply take the first
step and leave them a positive feedback (although they canceled, at least the
did communicate) - this should also lower the chance to get a neutral/negative
feedback

Hi!

While I'm normally more into "harder" music, I find it very relaxing
to listen to (mostly) slow electronic music without any lyrics while I have to
do tasks where I need some concentration (work, bricklink, etc.).

Check out my Spotify playlist I've created, maybe there is something you

Ah, ok, thanks.
But still strange - I'm using "stay signed in" option every time
(have to re-login from time to time, maybe every month or so). Also didn't
change my password for a long time before. Maybe I will take a closer look if
it ever happens again (e.g. logging in with a browser that I normally don't
use for bricklink).

Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm using a password generator to create random passwords for websites (stored
in an external tool - KeePassXC).

Today I noticed that I couldn't log on to bricklink anymore because of a
wrong password. After setting a new password, everything works fine again and
it seems that nothing has been changed (still have my (hopefully) correct inventroy,
etc.).

But still, a bit strange - has my account been hacked?
Does anybody else have/had the same issue recently?

Thanks!

Not sure if I fully understand you, but this normally happens when you check
"Retain" for a lot - instead of removing it completely, bricklink moves
it to a stockroom (stockroom "A", if you've enabled 3 stockrooms)
with 0 quantity.

Never

It happened twice though that I was missing a part in my inventory and somebody

Quotes get auto-canceled if other users buy from the same seller and the items
you've put on your quote request are ordered from other buyers.

If this happens to me as a seller (happend like 3-5 times until now, like different
mold type than ordered, quality not described exactly, etc.), I offer several
options:

1) I order the part from another seller and will include it then (so a delay
of about a week).
2) I proceed with the order and try to find another seller that ships directly
to my buyer
3) I give enough discount so that the buyer can order the missing part from another
store (including shipping costs) - which normally simply results in offering
free shipping for things the buyer ordered from my store.

Yes, I don't make any "profit" with such orders, but it's a motivation
to describe quality of items better and also to don't make inventory mistakes

I'd expect the same when I buy from other sellers by the way

oh, and of course:
4) cancel the complete order

This should work I guess: Go to Inventory, click on "By Availability", select

click on "Submit Changes"

Joe.

Brickstore makes it easy to do this and more.

Agreed of course (and it's free and open-source).

In BrickLink you could in the Inventory page, but only by Categories (Bricks/Plates...)

You can within Bricklink, go to this page and select these two:

Show Items in My Inventory

Show Items for Sale as number of ITEMS

Nice, didn't know that either. Thanks!

And have noticed recent vaues of a few sets have gone way up eg-(76989) from
$280aud to $660 !
When trying to figure out why I noticed Brick Takeover has priced Aloy hfw001
at $1510aud, which makes the part out value way out of reality.

Brick Takeover also charges way too much for the Sand Green Plate, Round 1 x
1 ($48aud) in set (40521) also skewing the value massivley.

Is this accepted/normal?

When trying to figure out if you want to part out a set, why don't you use
"Last 6 Months Sales Average" instead of "Current Items For Sale Average" in
"Default prices to"?

This should get you a more realistic price for the parts.

I will be doing that ....now.
It's just a shame some sellers have made the current price average irrelevent.

True, there are some shops where you think that their prices are defined for
selling the sets in about 30 years xD

Is there a way on our end as seller to force complete after a certain amount
of time or what? My ADHD and OCD are going nuts over here!!!

Take a deep breath, and just file the order. A buyer is not required to mark
an order complete. (And a seller shouldn't either.)

Jen

Yep.

Don't worry about it. Don't pay attention to it. Once I mark the order
as shipped, I don't pay attention to the order status any further. Whether
the customer ever marks it at received or completed, I don't care and don't
check.

I have marked the order as complete and it still doesn't fix it.... and to
all who wonder it drives me nuts because it looks like a new order at first glance
and I will stop what I am doing to focus on that and then its not a new order

Could it be that you are viewing the "All" option (top right corner in the order
page)?

If yes, simply switch to "Current" and "File" all orders that you don't want
to see anymore.

How many bags should this set have? Also - are there any bags with the same number

I ordered mine from a normal shop (not bricklink and also not Lego) and the seals
look damaged (one was even open). My set has 18 bags (no double numbers), but
it only weighs 3332g (compared to the 3404g that it should have according to
bricklink).

Thanks!

I just built this set, it has 18 numbered bags, no steps have multiple bags.
1 unnumbered bag, and a cardboard wrapped baseplate.

hope that helps

Thanks, that helps a lot! I had this unnumbered bag (with plates and energy effect
parts) as well, also the cardboard wrapped baseplate. Wonder why I'm ~70g
off then. Maybe the bricklink information about the weight isn't correct
(because normally I can trust my scale )

Try flipping to the end of the instruction booklet and see what number they have
on the last bag you open. It'll be a good method of knowing unless there
are multiples of any number.

True, didn't think about that, thanks

But then there is always the possibility that there were 2 bags with the same
number (like in other sets), like you've said.

And I'm missing 72g as well - but I guess that no bag is that lightweight.
