This part comes in two variants, with circular indentations down the length of
the underside and one without those marks.

Is there any information which one is older and from which year lego introducted
snake with circular indentations?

I noticed that these items in some colors like black and red old theme Ninja
and newest theme Ninjago share.

I am simply wondering if there are any differences between these items from old
Ninja sets from 1998 and from newest sets from around 2010 and Ninjago theme?

I would like to collect authentic parts from Ninja theme in 1998 but I am not
sure how to recognize that old parts, first producted?

  Hello,

This is very similar part to 6553 Technic, Axle 2L with Reverser Handle Axle
Connector but this one has indentation at the top what differentiates them.

It’s 2 bricks connected. Take the axle out then you should be good to go

Oh, thanks. Don't know how did not release it.

Hello,

I wonder does the Ninja theme belongs to the castle theme? On some sites they
treat them in the same basket, but not on bricklink, so I'm interested? In
general, the these two themes are in some point similar. I like some Ninja sets
from 2000' almost as much as Castle sets.

  Hello,

I bought some mini figures and legs feel weird to me. Plastic seems to me to
be different, lighter and there is no Lego logo on feets and some weird marks
deep inside.

Maybe just I am not informed enough?

Those legs may be from a key chain or some type of minifig that started as "gear"
instead in a set.

They could be from a Chinese made set - those parts are sometimes a bit "different"
in feel and appearance yet genuine. As noted above - what set / minifigure are
they from? May help us in identifying them.

It should be part of this mini figure if seller did not mixed it: cas466
It is from blister pack if I am right.

Thank you pcthurman but that tile with P is sticker in my case, not print.

Does it have the lego logo on the bottom

There is no Lego logo. Seems only brick with "Police" sticker is Lego.

You can choose Technic figure with these heads, maybe

Minifig No: tech001 Name: Technic Figure Black/Light Gray Legs, Dark Turquoise Torso with Yellow, Black, Silver Pattern, Light Gray Mechanical Left Arm
*
tech001 Technic Figure Black/Light Gray Legs, Dark Turquoise Torso with Yellow, Black, Silver Pattern, Light Gray Mechanical Left Arm
Minifigures: Technic: Competition
and

Minifig No: tech035 Name: Technic Figure Cyber Person, Black Legs, Lime Torso, Mechanical Arms, Dark Gray Head, Cyborg Eyepiece
*
tech035 Technic Figure Cyber Person, Black Legs, Lime Torso, Mechanical Arms, Dark Gray Head, Cyborg Eyepiece
Minifigures: Technic: Competition
and sell them as incomplete, and adding the complete description "head only"
!

Minifigures missing parts listed that way get reported and removed, and the seller
can be suspended if they repeatedly break the rule about listing incomplete figures
this way.

Oh, yeah, there is no option for these figures to select INCOMPLETE. Also,
there is no inventory of all parts.

I hope Bricklink team will do something about that...

Maybe the seller who has the Cyborg with a damaged head would be interested

Good idea, thanks bro.

I checked a few of my own from the 1980s. They all had numbers in them in what
appears to be the same font. So this was normal for these older hats.

It's just an old part. It's pretty common for Older LEGO parts.
