| I just discovered a stupid error i made.
While handling an order i had not one, but two parts i could not find. Both were
relatively rare classic space parts. It happens that i have an inventory error,
but two parts missing from the same order, and both classic space parts???
I was just about to write and apologize to the buyer when i realized what had
happened.
During lockdown i agreed to cancel an order to a NZ buyer as there was no way
to ship the order. While canceling the order i had the system put the items back
in my inventory, but i forgot to actually put the parts back.
So for a full year and a bit they were just sitting on a shelf in a small box
that should have been shipped to the other side of the earth.
There were quite a few semi rare classic space parts in that box.
Saved by the gong.

| I had my store closed for a couple of month due to being too busy to andle orders
i decent time.
Now i opened up my store and had a small order.
I do not have instant checkout enabled, but the order was paid before i even
added shipping and send an invoice.
How can that happen ?
kind regards

'c'.
Cheers,

| I have a bunch of heads the same as 3626bpb0918, but with hollow stud.
How can i determine the next part number to use ?
I guess the image and the description can be reused from 3626bpb0918, except
of course the stud type.
Kind regards

| You can see it by looking at which parts consolidate.
Check the youtube videos thet Bricks on the dollar has about how he uses Brickstock
to part out sets.
He has a series of 4 videos showing the whole process.
They are very informative.

People have different budgets and levels of disposable income. I am happy to
get a $30+ order, aren't you? Mocking the OP only reenforces his viewpoint,
so way to go, I guess.
Regardless of OP's budget, his complaint is has merit, I have felt the same
way shopping in some seller's stores.

| There are many parts available on BL that was never used in a set.
Sometimes Lego makes parts in special colors, for use in their Legoland parks,
or just for testing molds.
Sometimes these parts find their way to to BL.

There should at least be a min. amount if this option is implemented.

| This is a very common thing for many minifigs.
The problem is that minifigs can not have alternate parts.
So if you plan to sell it, just make a note.

| I am quite sure that before this part was split into an a and a b part, metallic
gold was a known color for the original 4595 catalog item.
Now pearl gold is known for both variants, but not metallic gold.
I have the "right handed" version in pearl gold and also in what i am rather
convinced is metallic gold. The difference is subtle, but the metallic gold part
seems to have a slightly textured surface, whereas the pearl gold version is
completly smooth. Also the metallic gold version is a tiny bit darker.
Am i wrong here ?

But if there is one thing that it is not, it is simple.
Making and old site based partly on classic ASP mobile friendly is everything
else than simple.
That is probably why they are going with an app.

| I don't think so
How would you handle gmail.com users for instance?, you have no idea which country
they come from.
You could probably do something by looking at the IP address, but people can
hide behind proxy servers etc. so that would not be guaranteed to work either.

| Yes exactly.
I pick orders before i invoice, and i feel bad if i don't invoice in 24 hours,
and ship no later than the day after payment is received. This rarely happens,
and if it does, i message the buyer to explain that i am a little behind.
I never had a negative answer from a buyer on that account. They always say something
like: "no problem i am not in a hurry", or "you can wait to the weekend".
Communication is the key to happy buyers.

| Instant check out requires the BL can calculate shipping cost for all different
shipping methods, in all countries, which is very very very difficult. On top
of that, it requires that weight and dimensions for all parts be accurate, which
they currently are not.
Instant checkout is a sweet daydream. But "We are working on it"
