1L hoses are technically not needed, we technically don't need to list them
as Counterparts either. In either case, the 11L hoses need to be in the Regular
Items section and the 10L hoses in the Counterparts section. I could go either
way on whether to also keep the 1L hoses as Counterparts or just not have them
listed at all.
Marek, do you have any thoughts on this?

There is no doubt that 11l should be in regular section and 10l in counterparts
because it is permanently changed during the building. In my opinion I think
I would treat 1l as "waste" similary to sprues and not add it to the counterpart
section.

Redesigned Sets - Sometimes a set is redesigned during production. To be considered

a change in quantity or color for at least one part in the Regular Items section.
If the redesign is significant, the set is given two entries in the BrickLink

Inventory was changed accordingly to what was showed in the photo of the instruction
you provided. This is redesigned set and you have most probably earlier version
as later uderside was reinforced.
But please send whole instruction scan to check if there any more changes are.

On LEGO.com, the parts inventory for this set shows the part as white, element ID 393701. The instructions for the set shows the color as tan. The white variation should be included as an alternate item.

This should be confirmed from sealed set content or could be also confirmed from
somebody who have this set, bought it as new seald then build it and never mixed
parts with other sets. LEGO parts replacment service (from which is your source)
can have mistakes.
As for now I didn't found any evidence that variant of this set with white
hinges exists. For now I found photographs of sealed ones with tan hinges only

It is still unnamed according to LEGO I checked the box art of new reissue and
there is still stated "Resistance Bomber Pilot"
I didn't anywhere say that I don't want second entry. I just pointed
that there are more such cases when LEGO redesign set and change it box art and
for those sets we don't have separate entry still (and there are many cases).
If 75188 would be added I don't see then any reason why Ghost second shouldn't
be added for consistency as it can be also in the same way easly separate, box
art was changed. You can see if you will have black or brown Kanan just looking

| There are lot of sets with changed art on boxes (redesigned) without second
entry
for example
In both cases images on box were changed when those sets were redesign. The Ghost
case is exactly the same as current the Bomber case. Kanan in first run copies
had black hair and on the box of set it is also with black hair and head printing,
but LEGO in this case very quickly realised about mistake and changed Kanan to
brown hair and head print, changing minifg on box to brown Kanan.
In second case due to redesign, change is visible in construction of Tie on box,
two box arts then exists before redesign and after.
Don't remember now any more. But when it will be decided to create second
entry for 75188 then second entries for those two sets must be created also for
consistency.
When reading commentaries on the web I wonder how many pepole are suprised by
this change, it really nothing special as you see LEGO done this before. Almost
nobody remember Kanan case. But Kanan isn't popular minifigs, Rebels cartoon
weren't such a hype. Lego even stop producing Rebels sets after third seson
and never done sets from last fourth season.

but I think I'm missing some bits and pieces based on the information guides
I'm reading.

Information for autofill is harvest from official LEGO inventories. Frequentlly
LEGO inventory isn't fully complete or our dtabase missing PCC (Part Color
Codes) for new parts, then those parts arent put to the inventory. So after autofill,
inventory have to be checked and corrected. LEGO never puts whole minifigs in
their inventories that is why you have separate parts for minifigs now. LEGO
also dosn't distinguish some parts variants in this inventories. How looks
official LEGO inventory you can see also here for example, your set for example:
https://brickset.com/sets/30393-1/Steve-and-Creeper-Set, check tab "Parts". You
can see it also in the LEGO replacment parts service https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/replacementparts

I had done a lot of research on this, also, and found the same exact things as
you.
I think we should have the minifigs with trans-light blue visors marked for deletion
and get them replaced with versions that have the correct trans-dark blue visors.
Now we just need someone who can provide the correct photos for the minifigs.
Does that sound good?
|
Totally agree on that
So If somebody is reading this thread and have those three minifigs
with proper trans dark blue visor
please submit them to the catalog.

On courtesy of Thea who pointed that there are two versions of this set.
Copy of information from the message which we received:
"I just finished building (from sealed box) and checking Set 41194-1 for Rebrickable.
My set did have 2x 33183 in Reddish Brown and 1 extra spare. Another RB member
also submitted the spare parts in a RB Change Request showing the Reddish Brown
carrot top."
It was also mentioned in this request from few months ago https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=237113&nID=1092585.
More information to follow.
Thanks Thea for the message and informations.

I just wonder if it is maybe deeper issue with those all Res-Q minifigs.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogListOld.asp?catType=M&catString=67.329
This one is with trans dark blue
other with visors have it in trans light blue
For example this set
https://www.lego.com/biassets/bi/4115746.pdf
has three minifigs also this one with change request:
In instruction there is no indication that colors of visor is diffrent in rsq004
and rsq008, they both should have the same. That is why I think maybe it isn't
quite right with all other 2 minifigs (rsq008 and rsq009) from this theme about
the color of visor not only rsq00). BTW color of visor should be the same as
Scuba Diver Mask from ext014.
And you have now proof that it should be trans dark blue, hmm... something isn't
quite right here.
|
There is definitly a mess here
Inventory of this set:
has minifig with trans light blue visor in the same time in this set there is
a second visor in regular section of inventory which is trans dark blue and there
is an extra trans dark blue visor
and this inventory is confirmed from sealed set content
"...confirmed accuracy of this inventory on Feb 17, 2018. (source: Sealed Set
Contents)"
Another one with trans dark blue visor in the inventory from this theme:
visor isn't used in any of minifigs and is trans dark blue in the regular
section of inventory.
btw I just make a look into all set from this theme
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogListOld.asp?catType=S&catString=67.329
they all have trans dark blue parts there besides visor in those particular three
minifigs (sic!), it is really looks strange. So LEGO put there trans dark blue
parts beside only visors wihich they decide to put in trans light blue
Web search are for now inconclusive. I only checked mentioned 6462-1 because
this one have two minifigs with visors (which should be the same color) and only
used copies where and there are examples with trans dark blue visors, with trans
light blue visors (could be messed because of our current inventories) and even
one where visor in one minifig is trans light blue and in other trans dark blue
Thinking about of it I get a feeling that all minifigs in this theme should have
trans dark blue visor. But that's for now only my assumptions.

| Hello,
I recently purchased the "SDCC2018-2: Black Lightning" set. I then went on Brickset
to add it to my collection, but no minifig is listed for the set. I proceeded
to send them a message so they could fix this error, but they told me they rely
on Bricklink for their minifig inventory.
That's why I'm posting a message here. I noticed that there are two entries
for Black Lightning on Bricklink : for the full set and for
the minifig. But these two entries are not linked one to another.
Could someone in the admin team link them?
Thanks a lot!

Just noticed it's the same for Sheriff Deadpool with for the
set and for the minifig

Somebody have to submit inventories for them.
Inventories should be done by somebody who has those sets in hand. Because for
sets which were added recently to the catalog we only accept source of inventories
for sets form sealed set contents.
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=199
"Source - You should have a physical copy of the set you are inventorying
to properly identify the parts and colors. When this is not possible for old
or rare sets, then it is acceptable to use the instructions, set picture, or
parts list (sometimes printed on the box or in the instructions) to complete
the inventory. Inventories will only be accepted from sealed set contents
for the first year after the set was added to the catalog. If no inventory was
created during the first year, then any source may be used to create an inventory."
More information also here
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1105076
As I checked those sets are not yet one year old since addition to the catalog
to have inventories from different source than sealed set content unfortunately.

Comments from Submitter:
This set Inventory includes 50860c01 Item 'Orange Motorcycle Dirt Bike, Complete Assembly with Black Chassis and Dark Bluish Gray Wheels' which includes the 50862c01 items, so are duplicated and it is neccessary to delete them. Thanks. Regards
|
Hi when bikes and motorcycles assemblies are in the couterparts section, wheels
and tires assemblies are also added to such inventory as another counterpart.
Just look in how many sets this wheel ant tire assembly is as counterpart beside
having also motorcycle:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=50862c01&in=S
Counterparts section can have "duplicate" items. Like also parts with the same
sitcker but having different mold variant.
This request will be rejected.
