They keep trying to hack into my account.

We received 5 of those emails in a span of 2 hours today.

Any idea where they get BL user email addresses?

This has been fixed. Please let us know if you find more of such images.

29085c01 Train Buffer Beam with Sealed Magnets - Type 3 (flat closed bottom)
Parts: Train

We're grateful to those who addressed this so quickly as there are certainly
better options for things to do on a Friday night than modifying a Bricklink
entry
Our friday night included watching 'Old Dads' and 'Leo' on Netflix,
highly recommend both!.

Your buyer sounds like a con artist.

That's a bit harsh as they intend to buy the exact amount of same buffers
and was (somewhat
understandably) ticked about having to pay again for shipping.
We sent them a good gesture coupon that should cover shipping as they placed
an order that included many other items that were not contested.
cheers,

There are several examples of this kind of concern within the BL catalog. In
fact, when I create a listing for an item that I feel would be better served
with a custom pics showing both sides say, I'm compelled to also add to the
listing comments, the fact that it's actually one item for sale, avoiding
potential buyer confusion: https://store.bricklink.com/popsicle&itemID=387616901

So I empathize

Appreciate the empathy and we’ll definitely add such notes or put a custom picture
but was hoping to fix the problem at the source- specifically on items such as
train buffers which most train cars require 2 buffers so you can also see the
buyers point of view.

I also believe that the original picture of this part was showing only a single
buffer so having to monitor every single catalog picture entry in our inventory
periodically is an unproductive use of time.
We now have a buyer who’s trying to leverage this into getting discounts and
other benefits to compensate for misleading them.
Thanks again

1- it seems redundant given that the order number is on the page.

Any help appreciated.

It would first be helpful to know what browser you are using. You will have to
use either Opera, Chrome, or Firefox browsers to fix your margin issue.

Here is your solution Heartbricker.

Download ublock origin extension (this is a web browser addon)
1.) Highlight the element on the page you want to remove.
2.) Right click and select block element in menu. (see picture 1)
3.) Click on create to block element (See picture 2)

This will work on every order, so you don't have to do it every time.

Yeah! Worked! unfortunately the background is not optimized for a standard copy
paper which blows my theory that the headers were the culprits out of the water.
Appreciate this!

Good question. It's not strictly a "header" inclusion, it seems.

Yup, this header business is a header scratcher

This is a workaround (of course) but doable if you're used to working with
HTML. Not sure if it works on Safari or Firefox, but I've done it on Chrome.

Right click on the order number and choose Inspect. You should see something
like this (see image below). Right click on the DIV tag immediately under the
CENTER tag and choose "Delete Element".

This will delete the header line and it won't show when you print (at least
it doesn't in the preview).

Appreciate the advice, it might not be a sustainable solution when we have dozens
of order to pack.
Have a great week ahead.

I'd save printed paper for the planet...

I'd:
* buy a $50 10" or such android tablet
* open the order page
* use "Show temporary checkboxes" at the bottom of the page, and check
them when the lot picking is done...

so save trees by using less printer paper but keep selling an oil derivative
(LEGO if oil derivative was too subtle) packed inside more oil derivatives (ziplocs,
bubble mailers) or tree carcasses (boxes) in addition to buying a device that
is built by exploited children and uses earth precious minerals to power and
delude myself into thinking that I'm environmentally friendly.
or not be a hypocrite and admit that non of what we do here is good for the environment,
We're just trying to support our crew.
Please pardon my facetiousness.

You can left click it and select inspect, then press Delete when clicking here:

This was the most useful answer to remove the header but unfortunately didn't
impact the print margins (tried zooming- didn't work.
unfortunately, this is also not sustainable to preform on every order, specially
monday mornings with a list of 50+ orders.
Really appreciate the effort and attempt at helping and also the fact that you
stuck to answering the actual question.
Best wishes and thanks again.

We have an order where a buyer is getting a message 'payment is already processed'
but on our paypal it is showing that the payment hasn't been processed, looks
like they made two attempts to pay that were cancelled.
This is a repeat buyer who we 1,0000% trust- seems to be a bug.
Any ideas?

curious how many voted overall?

i believe the total amounts of votes on actual choices provided was 12 out of
16 votes ( 4 votes were for different topic inspired options )

poll was open for 1 week.

but feel free to vote an option here if you wanted to vote.

updates will be provided

After years of being active in this forum (to a certain degree), we made the
decision to step back from it a while back (and to be fair also from other social
media forums) as it has become a lot more negative in tone and the benefits that
we once enjoyed extracting from it (some members shared some really valuable
insights and some shared detailed analysis of trends on Bricklink and other cool
info...) were no longer here. The insights turned into complaints, the gratitude
for this amazing site turned into members bashing BL and it's admin and employees,
the analysis reports manipulated the data to come to conclusions that were biased,
and helpful suggestions were ridiculed (I believe we made the first suggestion
to require new sellers to receive at least one feedback as a buyer before being
able to open a shop to eradicate new scam accounts- we were ridiculed- we were
shocked to see it implemented many months after). Suggestions and promises made
to sellers (like allowing seller to use their reseller certificates) years ago
have yet to materialize.
So bottom line- we found that our participation in this forum was not beneficial
to us or the community and has wasted resources (mainly time) that could have
been put to better use.
Regardless; I personally (and i think my team here at the shop would agree) have
a lot of respect for people like you who are still putting the effort to make
this forum better and more productive.
We wish you and like minded members lots of luck in your quest to make this forum
more appealing to the community.
Have a great week ahead,
THB

We received an IC order 12 days ago, the payment showing as pending.
We messaged the customer 3 times requesting that they contact paypal to resolve
with no response as of yet.
How long do we wait?
We can't file a NPB or a problem order ticket since it's showing as paid
even though the payment is pending.

experience, i ordered again and again and they really cleaned up their act and
improved and became one of my favorite shops.
The other store with the high minimum ended up changing to a no minimum model
and had good deals.
That is why i'm personally against this feature BUT i use the feature on
a temporary base meaning if the shop doesn't suit my needs now then i least

it off because that shop might suit my needs in the future.
activating this feature on a permanent basis (or activating and forgetting) will
hurt me as a buyer in the future as i might miss an opportunity or pay more than
i have to.
Something to consider...

It depends on how you search and browse when buying. I reckon I have at least
60 least favourite stores. Some are due to less than great experiences but many
are due to advertising fake sales, assembling minifigures, paypal charges, other
things in their terms that I do not like, etc. Some may have changed, but I rarely
go through systematically and look to see if they have changed. If I am buying
relatively cheap parts through a wants list, I leave them excluded. It really
is not a big deal to exclude them for such searches as there are plenty of sellers
for that type of part. If I am browsing and buying more expensive parts, which
I tend to do manually, I look in the price guide at what is available rather
than at the sorted price list. The price guide does not exclude least favourite
stores so I can see all for sale (in my country) quickly and easily and hence
don't miss something because I have them as a least favourite store. But
as soon as I enter their store, I get a warning that they are least favourited
by the thumbs down with a note so I can quickly check why. I can then choose
whether it is worth buying from them or not.

When building a moc or build; many times there are parts that aren't readily
available in every shop and if you find the rare parts in a few shops then you'll
probably utilize those shops and attempt to buy more items from those shops in
order to save on shipping costs.
And as i mentioned; some shops may charge various fees now that they may not
charge in the future- or change the unpopular items in their terms page.
While I disagree with many parts in your statement and stand by mine; I will
concede to say it's a personal/business choice.

  Hello,

a very bad thing happened with a 10k + feedbacks seller.

They shipped with the documents, the customs office didn't see them and I
double paid the taxes.
I ended paying nearly more in taxes than the order itself.

I called my post office and they said that it's the seller's duty to
contact the customs office and solve it. I am just a buyer, why should I care
about that? I should pay once and then get the goods. My duties should be over
with that.

So what would you do in my place?

Duty/Taxes are the responsibility of the importer (you/buyer).
You need to contact your customs office in order to show you paid twice and get
refunded.

They said that bricklink is behaving illegally, as I am the only one who has
to pay. It is impossible that bricklink makes me pay and then picks my money
and pays my State.
They say that it's very likely that bricklink is keeping that money.

1- a large company like LEGO wouldn't risk it's reputation or legal status
so "pocketing the taxes money" is and absurd notion that either you or your postal/customs
clerk made up.
2- the seller's only responsibility is to affix the tax document on the package-
that's it.
3- While I understand your frustration of being 'bothered' with it- it
is legally yours or any importer's responsibility to pay duty or any importing
fees.

This is how the system operates weather you agree with it or don't- the
system isn't gonna change because you don't feel like being bothered-
you have to work with the system and appeal.
You can put the time you spend bellyaching about it on the forum towards a more
productive channel which is appealing with the local customs authority.

  Hi.

It would be really nice, if you could add a feature, that lets you exclude a
specific shop during Auto-Selection.

I am currently in one situation, where that would be necessary.
I don't know what went wrong, but your site always selects one shop with
a 14€ min buy.
I have 15 €, so that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Exceeeept, this is false information. Once i have created my carts and go to
checkout, it says, that the min. buy is 28€, not 14!

Sure, i can contact the merchant and do whatever, but to quickly solve these
situations, it would be really nice to be like "Yerah, i do not want that shop!".

Maybe you have had personal negative experiences with them and simply do not
want to shop there ever again, due to personal reservations.

I can think of two other instances, where this would have been nice -i just forgot
the exact reason- and if there already is a way to do this, it really needs to
be more comfortable/obvious.

Only solution i have found so far, would be to manually select every shop, that
suits your needs, which is not comfortable at all.
