Hello everyone. I finally reopened my store after almost a year of its closure.
I added 37 pretty rare Star Wars minifigures today as well as a couple of hard
to find sets. Check my store out. Message me for a discount if you want to buy
multiple items from me.

Second attempt. ATTN: Greater Seattle Area Bricklink Store Owners

For last half a year I extremely low on time to manage my store - main job and
family don't leave much of it. Sometimes I can't even pick and pack orders
on time. I decided to sell my whole inventory. My goal is to get back as close
as possible to what I spent on my inventory without making any profit. My inventory
total cost is about $9K but I'm open to offers. If you are interested in
buying my whole inventory please send me the message so we can discuss. I'm
not ready to deal with the shipping so I limit this offer to local Bricklink
store owners only.

Thank you,
Russell

I'm having the same issue. All transactions say "We don't have mailing
address on file" and all shipping options are disappeared. My guess is that something
is going on with paypal.

In Help, Brickworld writes:
I need some assistance with my Pay Pal account. I receive payments through Pay
Pal but for some reason I do not get the opportunity to print a shipping label.
The button where it states to calculate shipping and print a shipping label
has disappeared. Any suggestions to correct this?

I really appreciate all the work you do to keep the catalog accurate and up to
date. Thank you and I will try to be more patient.

Minifigures section of the Catalog?

There is. It is a big job that few want to take up. I bought a case and they
were mailed 5 days ago, but the tracking number still shows them in their origin
city. Supposedly I will have them on Tuesday. If no one else is on it by then,
I will be on top of it.

Hi there. Will inventory for 75286 be added any time soon? I didn't find
it in pending inventories and the set page says it consists of N/A.

Thank you for the clarification. It totally makes sense now.

When TLG bought Bricklink my first thought was that finally now we will have
set parts inventory coming directly from them and this will stop delays related
to approvals and all such things. But I don't think this is happening. And
I don't really understand why. TLG has all this data because they created
sets and they know exactly what parts set consists of. Why don't they just
give this information to Bricklink inventory admins on the day of set release
(or even before that)? Is it obvious path to improve Bricklink?

It's not as simple as that. We have a sealed set standard on BrickLink, which
means that we base the inventory off what actually is in the set rather than
what is supposed to be in the set. This helps with accuracy with variants and
extras.

Also, BrickLink format varies from that used by the LEGO Group. We create and
name minifigs, we have counterparts, and we also recognize multiple versions
of a set.

We actually use LEGO data as a base to create the rough draft of inventories
which puts us most times at about 95% completion. But there's a lot of work
to do beyond that to prepare inventories for our standard.

One simple reason: The data from LEGO is not accurate.

BrickLink sellers require accurate inventories, and the work that is done by
BrickLink contributors to detail what comes in actual packaged sets is often
not the same as what LEGO thinks they put into those sets. Not to mention that
the BrickLink inventories contain lots of information that LEGO does not provide
at all. Extra parts and complete minifigures are two of those that many sellers
absolutely require to have on hand to use once an inventory is available.

Another reason that the inventories cannot be instantly available is due to the
fact that all of the new parts for sets must be added to the BrickLink catalog
first before the inventories can even know about them.

Cheers,
Randy

How long does it usually take for item to be finally added to Catalog when it
is in "Pending" status? I tried to add a few items released in 2020 in my store
but I didn't find them in Catalog. When I tried to add an item I got notified
that this item is already in Catalog but pending approval. It's been a week
now since my attempt and items still not there.
