| Good morning,
I understand your point but at the same time I feel bad to list these items when
there are absolutely no Lego markings on the items and that the color is not
"known" in the Bricklink catalog.
That's why I was asking if there was a way to know for sure if Lego manufactured
this color at all. Some kind of an official way to find out.
The "trans-red" items I have look pretty much like real 3899 items (as
shown on the pictures), but I think they're "good copies" and not
a rare color produced by Lego.

| Good morning Randy,
Here is a picture comparing 2 "trans-red" 3899 items with 2 official
items (trans-dark pink and trans-clear).
It is difficult to render in a picture but the color seems off when comparing
to a real trans-red brick. Also, top lid seems more rounded and a difference
can be seen at the bottom.

| Good evening,
While sorting parts, I came across a Utensil Cup (Mug) 3899 that was trans-red
color.
I looked at the item with a magnifying glass and I came to the conclusion that
this was probably Megablocks of another brand that copies Lego. It looks very
similar to a true 3899 item, but the lip seems different and (of course) no Lego
marking anywhere.
However, I see that this color is referenced in the Bricklink Catalog (not as
known but in the "All" category) and that even 10 sellers offer such
items worldwide.

My opinion is that this color is not produced by Lego and therefore should be
deleted from the catalog.

I modified the description in order to add the mention "Small Red Rectangle"
since the variation seems to be in the middle part of the pattern.
