No, not difficult to implement; just slightly difficult to get the right minifigs
into the catalog quickly. For now, I will add an inventory note to the set stating
that the other two figures should be without helmets, and I will see if I can
get some cheap figures for the fixes.

Cheers,
Randy

Sorry to disturb this post.
but I don't understand something:

On this link (unboxing of 8714) you can see the minifigs are pre-build (or mounted?).

The helmets are not on the minifigs.

Same for set 8640:

or set 8620:

Yes, the figures always came fully assembled. In other words, they were not meant
to be taken apart. However, people here have asked for the ability to sell individual
parts from these figures because they *can* be taken apart to some extent.

The catalog admins changed their policies to allow the individual parts from
these figures to be added to the catalog. The inventory admins need to now determine
how to handle these figures. I think it is necessary to go in the direction of
inventorying these figures with individual parts if the parts are to be added
to the catalog. Otherwise, there will be more orphaned parts in the catalog,
and the new admin team is trying to move away from items in the catalog that
are orphaned (not attached to any inventories).

Although these Technic figures will have an inventory attached to them once individual
parts become available, the main set inventories that include these figures will
always show them as coming fully assembled. Determining whether they are in the
set with or without helmet is left to the set instructions just like all other
figures in the catalog.

Cheers,
Randy

Thanks you very much for your answer.
I own some of these figures, I will try to add figures parts to the catalog

That would be excellent! Thanks for the help!

Cheers,
Randy
