All Tires in Bricklink have the same problem now:

1) When mated to a Wheel, the tire always ends up on a corner of the "contact
patch" (the greenish box showing the size of the tire, rather than staying
on a side.

2) Any attempt to rotate the tire to a side results in all three rotation arrows
activating, and cause the entire model to rotate, regardless of which arrow is
used.

3) It is impossible to screenshot any of this, as any attempt to screenshot results
in the arrows being switched off.

This needs to be fixed yesterday.

Hello,

Is anyone able to identify this set?

I tried the two doors (2554) but none of the sets seemed to match.

Thanks,
Jason

Hello all,

Anyone recognize either of these and the set they are from?

The yellow is on a 12 x 4 truck chassis with 4 pins for the wheels.
The other is on a 10 x 4 chassis

Thanks for the help

The new version has not shown up in any sets yet, but we are on the lookout for
it. Once we know more about the new mould, we will either add the alternate item
number if it is similar enough to the old mould or add a new catalog entry. Until
that time, we must wait.

Unless you have the new mould already? In that case, we would need to see good
comparison images between it and the old mould.

Cheers,
Randy

harry potter set, star wars sets, ships, bionicals, everything and I have no
idea where to start. They are loose sets like 95% complete and we have bins full
of loose bricks that belong to said sets.

Right now someone is offering me $200 for it all and it just seems low. Im on
mobile so its kinda hard to post everything here.

But how should I start?

Short answer; you started in the right place.

Long answer; Bricklink is a little clunky on my iphone (I have to scroll around
the page sometimes) so if you can get on an a computer it'll go a little
faster.

Compile all the set numbers you have, then click the "market" button
at the top. The green bar's links will refresh. Click "Price Guide".
There are two sections. The one on the left is for looking up parts/sets/whatever
(select "sets" that in the drop menu), the one on the right is for parting
out a set. Enter the set number and hit enter. This will show you all the sales
of that set for the recent new (left) or used (right) sets that have sold in
the past 6 months. The two right columns show you the new and used sets currently
listed for sale. Jump in to the settings and narrow this down to stores in the
USA.

Now, those prices reflect the fact that a seller has gone through and made sure
there were no missing pieces and that the instructions are included, possibly
the pieces are re-bagged in numbered bags and possibly has the original box.
For sellers, a lot of the legwork has been taken care of and there is value
in that.

Add all those totals up and halve it and that's about what you'd be able
to sell them all to a "store" because most people are looking for 200%
return minimum. If you're unable or unwilling to do all that and just want
to unload it "as-is" then you're probably going to get 30% of the
total value.

People on facebook marketplace near me are nuts when it comes to buying LEGO.
Not sure how it is up in Maine but take a look and see how many listings there
are. You can probably offload the whole lot un sorted for closer to 70-80%
of the total value.

You are using some terms that don't line up with our Catalog jargon. Can
you please post a screenshot or a url of what you are trying to accomplish? I
don't see anything different with this torso from any other.

If I try to add this with the "Add catalog image" macro, it cannot post

The Preview button complains that there is no color ID, but that's not an

I can, however, manually add it without a color ID, although this is not how

I'm unsure if this is a technical issue, if this post belongs elsewhere,

Try to find a buyer who sells on BL or another site. They may be interested in
buying to lot and putting together the sets. Keep all the bricks and pieces that
you know belong to a set together in clear bags. The misc. remaining parts will
then be easier to identify, especially using the BL feature that lists all of
the parts for a given set. For example if you have a star wars ship that is largely
complete, the missing pieces will be rather easy to identify as will the minifigs.

If you guys have the time, you might put them together and sell them as sets.
Otherwise advertising on local media like your equivalent of Craig's List
might work.

Random unsorted bulk is worth very little. If you want a good price, you need
to sort it.

For commercial or business accounts, the restriction is still in place, I believe.
Ukrainian personal PayPal account holders are able to send with some restrictions,
but only receive via what they've termed as "Expansion of Services"
in the updated contract. Essentially, what we know as "Friends and Family"
type of transaction, with it's limits

Then there's the question of shipping from there:

I'd like to write remarks about items in My Collection, particularly to specify
which parts are missing from a "Used, Incomplete" minifig, and to identify
third-party parts. Wanted Lists already have this feature, but serve a different
purpose.

Anastasia has just updated the info page. Hopefully it will get better

https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2616

"Sellers are required to ensure that VOEC number issued by BrickLink is provided
to Norwegian Customs authorities for each order that contains only low-value
items.

Failure to provide a VOEC number from BrickLink may result in errors and delays
because an order’s value would have to be identified at the border.

How to provide the VOEC number digitally:

Freight by postal service:
Provide the VOEC number (7 digits) via «electronic advance data» (M33/ITMATT
V1.) when booking the freight from your local postal service. Enter your 7-digit
VOEC number in the ITMATT field «sender.identification.reference».

Freight by other transporters, for example couriers, express delivery services:
Enter your VOEC number (7 digits) in the EDI message or via API as directed by
the carrier when booking the freight.

You can find up-to-date information on how to sell goods within the VOEC scheme
to Norwegian consumers here. If you have questions about how to provide your
VOEC number digitally, please contact the carrier of your goods"

I don't think there's a legal restriction, but PayPal as a Company is
free to determine if it's too complicated, too expensive or too risky...
and then deciding to temporarily not provide their service there.

Even if payment service would be possible, PayPal may also NOT provide Buyer
Protection when the Country is in war/such events.

All this's probably in their fine terms somewhere...

So buy wisely, and communicate with the to shops there before anything.

Hi, I have been adding parts to my store inventory. I realize you can use websites
to import parts. It would be nice if on the Add Item page, once you have selected
the item you wanted to work on that it would show all the colors available in
one column and it would have two corresponding columns, one for quantity and
one for price. I have defaulted as much information as I could, but it would
sure make it easier to add items in Bricklink quickly.
Thanks!

It stated when I placed the order to give them 7 days to ship. Now when I went
back and looked before they closed there store to do orders they upped it to
14 days. So it has been 9 days with still sitting on paid.

So here where is I want your opinions would you file a NSS or still sit and wait
for 14 days even though they changed it since I have placed my order. It isn't
a big lot order or anything.

I would wait. The goal of filing an NSS is to spur action. Nothing will happen
here - you already know there is going to be a delay of a few more days.

It’s clumsy, but it works if you’re compelled to find out.

Hmm.... So close. Unless I'm missing something. I do use Remarks but
this is only showing me my current inventory and when it last sold. Not every
time it sold. This could be useful though for other reasons.

You're not missing anything. I'm conflating two different goals and making
sense of neither. What happens when you get to be my age and try to handle far
too many things at once. This morning is one of those times. Not fun to witness

Disregard my post for now. I'm heading out the door to get my workout done
before I miss it altogether. When I get back, give me some time to ponder any
possible angles more deeply.

-popsicle

Until then, I'll cancell my advise so that it doesn't further misguide
anyone else. I'll try and repost what I come with here, later.

Yeah, I don't see a BL method or clever workaround to glean that info. Not
as you say, beyond the Price Guide's 6 month (sometimes longer) history,
or as Sylvain suggests, third-party tools.

Really don't know why I thought I'd come up with something Just had
that sense, now come to my senses, if that makes any sense other than nonsense

I'm gonna keep efforting it. Can't help it, given that now nagging sense.

It's because you browsed too much BrickLink for today, you're "blocked"
until midnight EDT.

One shop page of 50 lots makes already 100 or 150 requests, the limit of 5000
is easily reached.

Please better use wanted-lits or price guides, avoid browsing "randomly"

Wow thats some quick and good responses for me to understand. Very much appreciated
your inputs.

Coming from a background where bigger loose metal parts were always counted on
weight in higher amounts I did not account for the impact on tiny plastic parts
for even the color and/or differences in the composition.

But then I will at least count 100 and see where this takes me from weight for
this exact color and piece (assuming the come all from the same batch of production
to at least come close to counting them with a full manual count

I would wait. Had placed an order on the 8th and the seller still has not shipped

I’d wait, if they said 7 days I’d already be expecting a long delay but they

not being able to ship orders out fast enough) so I’d give the 14 days before

The amount of money you can expect completely depends on how much time you want
to spend on it. If you’re not interested in becoming a long term lego reseller,
you should probably use bricklink to get an idea of what used sets are selling
for (average sold price), group the sets with their correct figures, and then
sell on a local marketplace.

You can probably easily get between 50-75% of the bricklink price if you take
pics of your sets and plan to sell individually.

And yes $200 is ridiculously low. You mention ships. If that’s pirate ships and
you mean Queen Anne’s revenge or the black pearl, one ship is with double that
initial offer. Some rare Star Wars figs can also go for $50+ for a single fig.

Good luck.

Hi! Does anyone know of any website or platform with the ability to list Sets
whose inventory closely matches the parts in our wanted list? Say I have a wanted
list with 100 lots. I would like to know which Lego Sets contain at least 30
of these lots in its inventory. Of course, the more the merrier 😊 Can this be
done in any way?

Not sure if this has been discussed previously, if so will appreciate if someone
can provide the link to that topic here. Thanks!

I'm in the midst of transferring my store inventory from dust-prone drawers
to sealed bins. Just now, I transferred

Part No: 45301 Name: Wedge 16 x 4 Triple Curved with Reinforcements
*
45301 Wedge 16 x 4 Triple Curved with Reinforcements
Parts: Wedge {Reddish Brown}
thus changing "Drawer
U3" in the Remarks section to "Bin 7" in the process.

The anomaly here is that the 45301 Wedge element in question shows up in an inventory
search if the Store Inventory is displayed By Color, but does not show up in
a similar search by Remarks.

Odd, because all other transferred elements show up immediately in any type of
inventory search. Just not this one, and I cannot ascertain why.

Random unsorted bulk is worth very little. If you want a good price, you need

Hmm.... So close. Unless I'm missing something. I do use Remarks but
this is only showing me my current inventory and when it last sold. Not every

You're not missing anything. I'm conflating two different goals and making

There are veteran sellers on BrickLink who will likely chime in with their counsel
by the end of the day if not long before that. I'm not anywhere close to
being a subject matter expert on SW or HP, but...$200 for a lot like you're
describing is an insult any way you slice it.

Unless you're short on time, please take advantage of BrickLink's catalog
(https://www.bricklink.com/catalog.asp), and look up each set by number, noting
its average value for both a complete used set, as well as seeing what other
sellers may be charging for incomplete used sets. Even if you don't make
any kind of formal list, you'll start to get a much clearer picture on what
the whole lot should go for.

Smart move, incidentally, to start in the BL Forum.

If you’ve used the “My Remarks” for these lots as we do (example: location in
inventory, etc) then you can dig out your entire sales history for any given
item or lot, using the Inventory Download feature: https://www.bricklink.com/invExcel.asp

It’s clumsy, but it works if you’re compelled to find out.

Hmm.... So close. Unless I'm missing something. I do use Remarks but
this is only showing me my current inventory and when it last sold. Not every
time it sold. This could be useful though for other reasons.

Hey guys my older brother is ready to get rid of his legos. We have like every
harry potter set, star wars sets, ships, bionicals, everything and I have no
idea where to start. They are loose sets like 95% complete and we have bins full
of loose bricks that belong to said sets.

Right now someone is offering me $200 for it all and it just seems low. Im on
mobile so its kinda hard to post everything here.

But how should I start?

Go to store inventory and on the right side there is a column, you can select
items are days old or older then.. and items last sold.

this should help

Always liked minfigs of the Paradisa line within Town.

When looking at 5135cx1 vs 5135c01, the description mentions different colors
for the wheels.
5135cx1 = Pearl Light Gray (PLG)
5135c01 = Light Bluish Gray (LBG)

The image in the catalog seems to show another difference: the button on the
top.
5135cx1 = transparant yellow button
5135c01 = solid green button

In a bulk lot, I found three of these locomotives, all in yellow.
The first is clearly 5135cx1, as the wheels are clearly Pearl Light Gray.
The button on top is trans yellow.
The second has wheels in Light Bluish Gray (100% sure, it's distinctive
when comparing with the first one) and has the trans yellow button.
The third has wheels in Light Bluish Gray (again easy to see when comparing
with the first one) and has the solid green button.

The problems here are:
1. It's unclear wether the button plays a differrence in catalog identification.
2. The item 5135c01 doesn't seem to exist in yellow. At least not in the
catalog, as there is no set reference that has this part in yellow.
I don't know how to list them correctly.

Picture of the second and third model below.

Who can help with some thoughts on this?

I am not very familiar with Studio. If I used it, it would be as a game, but
I guess it is intended to design something to build and they don't want someone
to design something and not be able to get the pieces. If so, restricting it
to parts that were in sets is a pretty good rule. You cannot reliably find Dark
Green 3022 and when one is for sale it will be an expensive 3022.

It’s a soft restriction.  You can use any colour you want on your parts, it’s
just that:
— the part is marked as non-existant,
— there’s no price for it in Studio,
— there’s different filters that you can set to prevent using those “unknown”
colours, so you have to bypass the filters _you_ set (nothing to bypass if you
didn’t set the filters).

I just noticed it was added to the catalog on February 20th, so I guess that's
at least part of it. But my curiosity still stands, as there were a lot of other
minifigs added around that time: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=2&sortBy=D&sortAsc=D&catType=M

So why was this Paradisa one (or any other featured one, for that matter) chosen?
Does BL randomly pick a handful out of the newly added items?

You can use the WASD keys (configurable; step depends on the Grid; direction

That being said, the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/

It does exist. Some collectors have them. But it was never in a set, so they

Sounds like solid and simple solution, except for as others have mentioned; the
whole newbie needing help, factor.

Spam has never really bothered me here in the forum, you just kinda roll past
it. But it would be a good thing to keep it away. How about restricting the ability
to use links within posts for zero feedback members, or something along those
lines?

Dear catalog admins,

part 30388pb015 seems to have extra line breaks at the end of the part name,
which appear in the tab delimited download and break the formatting.

My guess may be wrong but the Parts.txt export file currently looks like the
attached image.

I tried using the Change Item form but the name of the part is too long and won't
fit in the name field.

If you could have a look at this, it would be appreciated.

Regards,
Antonios

Voted No. I'd rather deal with a little spam than not help new users with
questions. Bricklink is not the easiest site to use, especially if you're
new.

Yes. Just report and they quickly vanish if you auto hide cancelled posts. People
that feel the need to reply to them are a bigger problem, so they get added to
the ignore list.

I think bricklink changed 553c to 553b and now calls that a duplicate 🤔

Yes: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1451828

These parts were merged, so they now use the same ID and so you have duplicate
lines in your WL.
And if there’s duplicates in ONE WL, that blocks ALL your WLs (you can’t edit
them, you can’t use Apply Order…).  So you need to correct the problem.

Yeah my stud.io model has one 553c and it seems bricklink now unlisted that,
i think inventory wise im okay and have all correct parts 😎 but can anyone clarify
this change? I’d just like to be sure as don’t want start building giant moc
and find one piece is missing from inventory 😝

553b and 553c and 3262 only differed by how the stud was blocked:

“This part has multiple variants with differing stud types. Versions of this
part exist - in order from oldest to newest - with an open stud blocked by plastic
in the shape of a 'Y' (previously known as 'blocked open stud',
a hollow stud, and an open stud blocked by plastic in the shape of a thick 'I'
(previously known as 'vented stud'.”

There’s no functional difference.

You probably need to slow down. Generate one code, wait for it to arrive and
then enter it. They reset if you generate a new one, so you could be entering
an old one each time.

I suggest that a feedback rating of 1 or higher be required to post in the forums,
or new accounts could be prevented from creating a new thread for 30 days.

If limited to those with feedback it will turn away many users why are looking
for help and if putting a limit on how many days before they can post wouldn’t
help as then the spammers would simply lets accounts sit for however long before
using them

Im super grateful that I didn't need feedback before posting. There are so
many users on here with tremendous encyclopedic knowledge that provide valuable
support from years of experience.

I can ignore some spammers. Much love, and have an epic day!

So new users with issues are banned from getting help?

I agree somewhat but see an issue where new buyers with questions are blocked
by this.

A solution might be a captcha (only for your first post) or account activation
per email.

Thanks all, I refunded the item and messaged the seller to let them know.
So is an item removal request more so for manual invoice/request quote stuff?

For a few years it appeared on BrickLink (probably mostly for debugging Inventories),

But the oldest lots will show you lots which didn't sell.

Or are old and selling but you're restocking permanently - chances are low

Aaaaah... Well shoot.

I started tracking a few of the ones I'm aware of as they come through but
I'm sure there are insights in the rest of the data. I guess I can write
a script that will scrape data from the order page moving forward.

Thanks for your help anyway.

Download free open source BrickStore, import your inventory, sort by Lot ID.
That's it - you'll see most recent and oldest lots.
How can any seller still not use BrickStore?

Oh wait, I don't think I was clear.

I want to know every transaction for this lot.

Say it's Lot 555 for a pink heart tile. I can go to the price guide and
look for all the yellow squares to show my sales; so that data is stored on the
back end. But can I just somehow pull up Lot 555 and see in table format every
time I sold it and the quantity?

I realise I could just do a partial refund too.

I don’t know if you can remove items on a paid order.

Of course not!

You agree to pay 12 bucks for 12 bananas, the guy says "fine! but I have
only 10"

OP: discuss with the buyer, agree with him to make a partial refund and to ship.
In 99.99% of the cases, buyers will understand with no problem.

If not, refund the whole, cancel and correct the inventory
What can you do else? You're not gonna 3D print them

I don’t know if you can remove items on a paid order. In general unless it’s
a high $ item it’s not worth trying to save the several cents in fees and go
through all the hassle of an order item removal request and as you suspected
simply refunding the item and messaging the buyer is the best way for all parties
involved in most cases
