Another Amazon buyer expecting everyone else to have it delivered the next day.

I should not take orders from new members anymore
I will try to change my store settings
and of course block the buyer (i never did it before)

  Hi,
I got my first Neutral Feedback without any justification.
The buyer made the order at 17.2, I shipped it at 18.2 and he received it at
21.2
Although it took less then a week and although the Israeli PO is not under my
command (I wish it was!) the buyer gave me the following feedback:

Everything I asked for arrived, even the used one feels like new but the shipping
time takes quite a long time

I submitted Feedback Removal Request.

My questions are:
1. What to expect? The feedback will be cancel?
2. How long does it take normally?

Thanks,
Yoav

No more 100% positive feedback when landing to my store

Sorry to hear it. Through comms you can request of the member to remove their
own feedback left. Don't believe the feedback removal request will be acted
upon, it lacks grounds within the guidelines

Many just do not understand the impact "neutral" has on a seller's
profile. Understandable as it's in fact, not neutral.

If it is 1 neutral or negative in 20000+ total, it would be rounded up as it
would be 99.995. 1 in 19999 total rounds down to 99.99%, 1 in 20000 total rounds
up to 100.00%.

After reading a now cancelled post:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1457020

In which the OP highlighted Carol’s first non positive (neutral) feedback in
over a staggering 25,000 orders, I noticed something: The neutral didn’t produce
an effect on Carol's percentage number displayed.

Has this suggestion been implemented?
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=868453
Or is it that her order numbers are so large that the percentage affected can’t
be shown or formatted as is?

Two store banners, both with a single selling neutral

https://store.bricklink.com/carolannee
https://store.bricklink.com/par016

A very nice post about carolannee, btw. Here's my readied reply to it.

Carol was my inspiration early on here as to what a BL seller could become.
Her comms, packaging, listing practices, processing times, all exemplary. She
set the bar high for other BL sellers. I’m privileged to have gotten to know
her some personally over the years. A wonderful personality who happens to also
enjoy her garden

She and I trading location in a manner of speaking. We were in Olympia for years
while she was up in the Seattle area. Nearly at the same time, she and her hubby
moved down to Olympia where we lived, while we move up to the Seattle area where
they had just left. She also has been fazing out her inventory in order to close,
nearly as long as we have been

-popsicle

It most have been converted or removed? I am not seeing her have any neutrals.

Bingo! It's now not showing. Thanks.

Guess it was just the timing

And why the other cancelled their post, no doubt

Having had a look, it's surprised me how long it's taken for the seller
to leave the negative, nearly 3 months after the neutral was originally posted.

The seller (deliberately or not) waited long enough so that the buyer can no
longer change his or her feedback.

Right 👍

Hello. I made a purchase from a user. The package never arrived, through the
post office I learned that it arrived in my country but that it cannot be delivered
because the address was wrong or incomplete. And that it had already been
returned to the sender. I contacted DHL and the only thing I could find out was
that it had already been delivered to the sender. At cost, the seller gave me
back the value of the set, despite saying on the bricklink page that he had returned
the whole thing. I lost money. Gave neutral feedback to the seller. The seller
gave me negative feedback claiming that I gave up on the purchase. I think the
feedback I was given was unfair. I hope the admin will refer to the entire conversation
exchanged between me and the seller and remove the only negative feedback I have.

I didn't give up on the order. It was a set that my daughter was missing
and bricklink knows that I ended up buying it from another user. (Whom I thank
as it was very kind)

Thank you all. Fortunately and quickly, bricklink removed the negative feedback.
I know it's just one, but I make every effort to make sure everything goes
smoothly in all the purchases I've made so far. Maybe I should have ignored
it, but I wasn't. Mainly because of the total arrogance and contempt of the
seller who did nothing to solve the problem. Thank you

It isn't treated as a bad thing. It is also not a good thing, so doesn't
count as praise.

Email the buyer and ask them to stop doing it. If no response, stop list them,
and inform all sellers you are friendly with so they stoplist them.

It's not an buyer I had to deal with, but I'm letting all sellers on
here know to expect a neutral if they order from you.

If sellers place an order then in that case they are a buyer. And why would I
leave them a neutral?

Sorry about not communicating. I couldn't access my account. However, I might
still be willing to purchase from you. I will ultimately decide if I purchase
from you, today.

I'm not sure who you are - sorry if I've forgotten the context - but
thank you anyway, and you're very welcome of course!

I see this has been canceled because spreading awareness using a username in
the BL forum is a bigger issue than the source of the problem.

Hopefully the message in the discord server reaches a bigger audience...

If anyone is curious, the user is BrickDL and they are based in the US.

The seller (deliberately or not) waited long enough so that the buyer can no
longer change his or her feedback.

Would this affect removal of the seller's feedback?

I think not, it is a retaliatory feedback from the seller.

Cheers ...

You can cancel your feedback and leave them a negative. Then file a complaint
at paypal for any remainder of the cost, if you paid that way.

I'm sorry but while you're right, there's no reason to remove this
Feedback.

The (bad) seller is allowed to think at this as a negative transaction.

You could remove your feedback if you gave it less than 30 days ago, and give
him a negative also

Apart this, it won't be changed.

Note you could also Reply to the feedback, it's important if someone reads
it.

Much more, don't worry - Sellers do NOT read the buyers feedbacks, epescially
when you've 60... It could be a problem if you were "-1" for example,
but at 60 really nobody cares.

Don't worry, set this seller as Least Favorite and forget it.

did not go to the splash page at all. OOOPSIE ... my bad. This CDN Ontario store
states on his splash page in red he will charge everyone 13% tax. When questioned,
I was told told, in no uncertain terms (lol), that his terms are his terms. Too
bad for me. It went back and forth and I suggested that he could do the right
thing and change his terms and conditions and conform to the lawful tax laws
of his province and country. That is not going to happen. I mentioned it again
in clearer words. I finally got him to refund some taxes paid. Does this person

I guess it must be a pro Shop, then you're allowed to ask for their pro references.
Here for example, they MUST be displayed to the public.

  Does he have to
answer? Does this person think that collecting his extra 8% on every single out
of province order his rightful tip? Does he think it is right to dupe unsuspecting
and unknowing customers? He is not the only store in Ontario that is collecting
extra cash in what I believe to be a low and underhanded manner. I wish I could
stop them. I can warn others about this particular store in my feedback. He will
probably counter with a lie of some kind and just keep on with these petty thefts.
So ... your thoughts ... or better yet ... creative and constructive solutions?

IIRC I already told you?

If you think it could be an unlawful tax colection, DO report this shop using
the member report page AND opening a helpdesk ticket.

Oh yes, thanks again. You are helpful. I will use your previous link. LU

Seeing your FB profile, you may have a communication problem, at least.

Just like this forum post: you could have FIXED the problem instead of posting
and asking for a removal - that may not even be necessary if the buyer's
comprehensive...

no no, didn't you see his post? His buyers just need to relax because
he refuses to piss on himself by being kind to them. Messy.

What I can see is that he's getting ALSO a negative feedback in forum
