Hi again 
First, the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).
Then, the only way I see to update Studio’s parts for an older version is to
unpack the installer of a new version and pick the files in there.
(Both macOS’s .pkg and Windows’ .exe are archives and you can find the parts
in the ldraw directory.)

the wheel goes on small wheel pins, like this one:
You can also put a bar through the wheel:
and you can put the bar in a Technic pin that will fit in 18975.
I don’t know if the wheel will turn well though.

| cerca il numero del set, poi su bricklink cerca quel numero e entra nella pagina
relativa a quel set. troverai "add to my wanted list" e sotto a quella
scritta troverai "part out"... clicca su "part out".
ti si aprirà un'altra pagina dove potrai decidere se aggiungere alla wanted
list (consiglio: quando te lo chiede creane una nuova) il set, oppure i singoli
pezzi, oppure le minifigures, o le istruzioni, o la scatola... a te interessa
selezionare "parts" e segui quello che vedi nella pagina...
facendo così otterrai nella sezione "wanted lists" una lista con dentro
tutti i pezzi necessari, come se li avessi aggiunti manualmente.
ripeti il procedimento, selezionando stavolta "minifigure" se vuoi aggiungere
alla lista pure i personaggi...

Hi,
IIUC, you’re running 2.2.3 because the newer versions of Studio don’t work on
older Macs.
The problem is that, since 2.2.3, the servers (and Studio) were updated to use
a newer version of the TLS protocol (connection security).
So 2.2.3 is too old to connect to the servers.
The error message is confusing because the usual reason Studio can’t connect
is because of the daily maintenance.
But there’s nothing that can be done: you can’t upgrade Studio on older Macs,
and the security can’t be lowered on the servers
If you want to download from / upload to the Gallery, you’ll need to do it from
the Gallery.
And if you want to upload your models to a Wanted List, you’ll need to use the
upload page here: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/upload.page
