My grandkids say I'm too old to play with Lego now!!!
I've decided to pack it in and get rid of my huge stock.
Everything half price, with a £20 minimum order.

You probably have to do what the grandkids say, but there are some sets that
allow all the way up to 99 and if you were older than that, I expect you would
have already retired.

They got rid of the upper age limit soon after they were ridiculed online for
their ageist labelling. Whether it was coincidence or not, I don't know.

Most sets have no upper limit now, especially not the 18+ ones. Even ones that
might be expected to have been labelled as 8-12 or similar are now just 8+, I
think partly as by putting limits on the age on the packaging that they were
putting people off. It did look a bit odd that they were claiming to be inclusive
and that LEGO is for everyone, if they then put upper age limits on packaging
suggesting their sets could not be enjoyed by older people. There is nothing
to stop a 14 year old or a 90 year old from enjoying a set aimed at 8-12 year
olds, but advertising the maximum age is 12 can stigmatise someone from buying
and enjoying it if they are over the recommended age, and is not particularly
inclusive.
