I opened a new one 3 years ago and the current pic was taken with pieces from the set.

that you added.

However, all of these minifigures should have the newer torso.

Yes, that's why I said the current pic was taken with pieces from the set.
I swapped in a curved hat that I had for the picture of this one, but otherwise
it was what came with the set.
