| Hello,
I've been a member for a long time but took a break. When did they stop putting
tracking numbers on our orders? Honestly, it's better to have them. Proves
they shipped the package and lets the buyers know when to expect them. Avoids
porch pirates also.
Thanks,
Junkpile

It’s still an option but some seller don’t/don’t know how to add it in

| The optional column in the Orders Received page where a tracking number can be
added is not activated per default, most sellers (I assume – like me until recently)
don’t know that this option exists, so they won’t use it.
On the buyer’s side, I am not sure how many know that feature and look for the
TrackingNo by opening the Order Summary.
Due to constantly tightened rules for sellers (by Paypal, Bricklink) tracked
shipping will be more or less standard in the future. Thus a default TrackingNo
column should be available for both sellers and buyers in their overview of orders.
This should improve communication between buyer and seller and avoid unnecessary
requests.

Another maybe more interesting way is to use a Customized Template for the drive-through
e-mail.
You then can use any field (like the tracking one) where you put the tracking,
and then on the e-mail the buyer will see something like:
... has been Shipped!
Your tracking number is: https://www.whatevertrackingsite.com?id=0123456789

OH interesting. I never thought about putting a hard link in the drive thru.
I just send the tracking number and assume people are cutting and pasting it
in to the browser window.

You can make this, using a fixed link and a macro token which contains the tracking
