| Hello. I got what I think might be a suspicious email last night at precisely
midnight UK time ( 8pm Bricklink time ).
I didn't open it because I thought it might be a hack attempt, but it was
from Bricklink Team and the title was Attention sellers.
I'm wondering if anyone else received a similar email?

Yes, mine was from blservice@bricklink.com, warning about the phishing email.
Reminding to be careful.

Yes, mine was from blservice@bricklink.com, warning about the phishing email.
Reminding to be careful.

Same over here. Plus (tho I may be mistaken) in general simply opening an email
dosnt expose you to danger but only if you open a link or download a file that
does so it’s best to open the email and check the sender and if it’s from “@bricklink.com”
exactly with no weird spelling or ending or anything then it’s real

Correct, just reading the email will not cause harm the opening of links in an
email is what will open a person up to harmful malware, Trojans, viruses and
such.

Yes, and there are many signs that it's authentic:
- it comes from blservice@bricklink.com
- it is authenticated with DKIM, SPF, and DMARC
- it doesn't link to a login page
- it doesn't ask for your password
I've never heard of a computer's being hacked simply from opening an
email. It's opening attachments, clicking on links, etc. that can cause issues.

I think it’s real for starters there are no links 
But be careful it may be a attempt by the scammers to catch us off guard will
a more genuine looking email address.

There was an official email sent out last night warning about phishing scams
and giving some general advice on how to protect your account.
