| We put the Hogarts castle together a few years ago (71043), and I was going through
the extra parts bag we created for it. I came across three of these in black
and three in dark brown. I assume they weren't a real part since I can't
seem to find them anywhere (not brickoganize, bricklink, Google Lens), but I'm
not one that usually keeps sprues or cape boxes. Does anyone know for sure what
it is? (I put the jewel there for scale).
Thanks!

| This is interesting. None of the other axles in that set came in those colors,
so it's not like they were cut in half (PS, I could totally see a need for
these though, mating two from opposite sides of the same axle hole.)
Nothing shows up under 1L, 1/2L, with friction or without friction.

Not LEGO:
0. No 0.5L axles. Unless broken.
1. Wrong colour.
2. Wrong material.
3. The pin on your part is full. LEGO pins are tubes.
4. Bad moulding: there’s some flush visible inside the pin.
