Hi, someone (NEW in Bricklink with zero ratings) has buyed from my shop a expensive
Legoset. He send me a delivery adress from Singapur. I awared him that he has
to pay taxes for the package, after that he wrote me another adress from Switzerland.
I wrote him again that also for Switzerland he has to pay taxes, now hi gave
mi another new adress from Italy. It isn't strange? What I should do? Thanks

Ship it to Delaware.

In all seriousness, it does sound a bit strange. If you're not comfortable
shipping the order, then you may want to request to cancel from the buyer.

I hope that helps.

If it's paid with PayPal: send to the PayPal address, no exeption for a Newbee!
And use a proper track&trace ofcourse.

Extra border-taxes are not your problem, stop mentioning that. A costumer should
know that when ordering.

Good luck,
Klaas

Yes, buyers should know that. But not all do. It can be a good idea to remind
them (especially if they are new here and don't know that taxes are not pre-collected).
Otherwise, if the parcel is refused and returned, then the seller is down on
the postage costs.

Are you collecting the taxes for Singapore or Switzerland? I don't understand
why you would tell him about VAT or customs fees except in the general sense
that you're not responsible for them.

It sounds like that is what he has done - told the buyer that they will need
to pay taxes on import. It is a good idea, so they don't refuse the parcel
once they find out tax is due.

If their paypal address is Singapore, then you should ship to Singapore.

Many Asian countries don't have heavy import duties as we have in Europe.
In the case of Singapore they will only pay 8% VAT over total order including
shipping and whatever fees.

Example:

set = 200 EUR
shipping + fees = 50 EUR

250 x 8% = 20 EUR is all the taxes they will have to pay.

Ask him how he is able to supply 3 different shipping addresses.

AGREE!! This is the most important question. If he cant give a good reason then
because he has 0 feedbacks, I would cancel the order.

3 different address / 3 different countries / expensive set / 0 feedbacks,
all just adds up to sounding like too much of a possible scam.

Have you checked if the member's IP address is in Singapore? The IP address
can be found in the order confirmation email.
