After many hours of work, I would like to present the "Bricklink Archive".

If you navigate to this page

https://www.bricklink.com/aboutMe.asp?u=Nubs_Select&pageID=59816

or if you click the "ME" icon next to my feedback brick and then click
on the archive link on that page you will arrive at the same page.

On this page are links presented for all of the parts that were either planned
for the merge for February or ones that might be merged later. Yes, some on this
list are ones that aren't being merged but I'll leave them on the list
for now at least until it all dies down and I've confirmed that they will
not be affected.

Also included is a link to the list of known head types on bricklink prior to
the merge for each individual figure. if post-merge you wanted to see if

Minifig No: poc012 Name: Captain Jack Sparrow Skeleton
*
poc012 (Inv) Captain Jack Sparrow Skeleton
Minifigures: Pirates of the Caribbean

was known to have both blocked and hollow stud heads then you'll find it
on that list. same for every single other figure that used 3626 heads on bricklink.
(vented were not separated out and yes I know bricklinks knowledge of blocked/hollow
was incomplete but if bricklink had it known, then for most of those it is recorded.)

The Smooth slopes and frosted bricks were not archived. but if you're reading
this shortly after it was posted and want to archive them you still have time.

If you see I missed any (excluding patterned parts, frosted, and smooth) feel
free to let me know asap and I can add them to the list but I'm pretty sure
I have them all. Please note some links may behave funny on the archive site
but I am working on fixing them but it has a 1 hour cool down so it takes a while.

Really super that you took the time to do this. Many thanks!
Only one problem. The links don’t seem to work. Click on 4079b, it says there
was one set in Lime. Click on Lime, and you get an error page?

Unfortunately, that is a limitation. in order to save that I'd have to save
hundreds or thousands more pages (1 for each color combination for each item)
which I didn't have time for. the best way would be to scroll down the page
to Lime in order to see it. In short, the jump to feature isn't saved but
you can still scroll down or "ctrl f" and type in lime and it should
do the same. Glad I could help!

Webarchive is soooo slow (but probably reliable?) - maybe have your web site
or partnership with Mark like for those:
http://v4ei.com/brickref/fup.php

PS: BrickOwl French auto translations are really DUMB - for some it simply doesn't
mean anything.

PPS: it's like in BrickStore, the last version in French shows "List
of Most Wanted persons on BrickLink" (for Wanted-Lists of course)

Perhaps, (if your reading this feel free to use it as you want). but as you mentioned
webarchive is reliable even if slow. it gets the job done all things considered

What worries me is that for 10+ years we're having fun of "them"
with their silly translations.

But as of right now, 2024, BrickOwl and BrickStore are AS stupid as them.

Shame on us, really

Picture 2 shows "LEGO assiette" which means "LEGO plate-to-eat"
( as a dish, while it could be "plaque" ).

This is an assiette:
https://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&q=assiette

I'm soooo sorry we right now are the clowns.

Which could also mean Chinese are 10 years ahead of us?

Hey, wake up!

Some updates

1. Some broken page links were fixed. For example, if you went to 32064 and clicked
on the "Item Appears In" minifigures link it would say page not found.
this has been corrected for multiple links so everything should work now.

2. Fixed some pages where images just didn't appear for long period of time
and would show "Image Error" for a while before loading the proper image.

3. Fixed multiple pages where the "For Sale, Color Info and Price Guide"
tabs were not saved

4. Fixed it so that by default the loaded page always has the "Color Info"
tab selected as prior some would have either the items for sale or price guide
as default. The exception to this is the 2 Iron Golem figures which go to the
Minifigures inventory instead as they dont have a "Color Info" tab

5. Fixed the wrong link being present for 4032b (previously it pointed to 46212
but has been fixed to point to 4032b)

6. Fixed an issue where 6 parts somehow had duplicate entries on the list

7. Updated list to reflect the sections of parts. for example, all "teeth"
parts are now in a section

If you find any other broken links or similar please let me know ASAP so I can
fix them before the items are merged

(please note some pages have the header or footer styles messed up but I am trying
to fix this)

Hello!

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this archive! It will be very useful!

One question... I was about to upload in my inventory the part 52394, but then
I notice that this is an alternate item of 4588. I went then to check if it was
included in the archive, out of curiosity, but it is not.

I do not have the part 4588, but from what I see from BL, seems to be pretty
much the same (maybe slightly different on the bottom-inside?).

Then, my question, the BL merge will affect only to mold variants (like 4032
and 4032b, which are clearly differentiate so far in the catalog), which can
have some differences, but part variants (like 4588-52394, which doesnt say much)
are not affected as they are just pretty much the same?

I am a bit confused here... sorry if it is obvious, but hope the question is
understood
Thanks!

Hi!
To the best of my knowledge 4032 isn’t being merged so it’s not on this list.
This list is specifically made up of parts form the February merge and no others
at this point
Hope this helps!
