Hi
Why is it that 21344 is created with the wrong sticker sheets and the 2 blocks
with misprints? They do not make sense that the correct ones should be created
as alternate items?
I agree that Lego makes changes to some sets, but a set where misprints are corrected
should not be seen as 2 different versions?

Best regards
Simon

The catalogue doesn't record what is "correct". It records what is
found in actual sets. The first version was found first, so it is recorded as
coming in a set. The second version was found second, so it is recorded as an
alternate.

Different versions of a set are also problematic where the set has been updated
during production. How do you know for sure which version you have without opening
it?

Do you mean should LEGO call it a different version or BrickLink? If LEGO doesn't
change the box art, then it's very difficult to make two different listings.
How are sellers to know which version they have without opening it?

Thanks,
~Jen

In my opinion, there is 1 version, but Lego has made some misprints in the set
which can be exchanged by contacting Lego
but I don't understand why the set is uploaded with the parts with misprints,
I guess they are meant to be thrown away

Misprints are often very desirable

Umm... I don't think mistakes are 'meant' to be thrown away. That's
a pretty large assumption.
