I am often wanting to build lego technic bikes but despite having a pretty powerful
pc (Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060? 16GB@3200MHz) the single fact of selecting a wheel
ot a tire freezes my pc for 5-10 seconds
anyone knows how to fix performance ?

The proper forum is here:

Studio worked perfectly well on GTX 1070 here, up to 20000 parts approx, zero
delay.

Now RTX 3070, no problem.

There must be a config/graphical problem on your PC?

But check the Studio forum.
