I went into my local Lego store today and noticed that Pick-A-Brick wall large
containers (boxes) are now $17.99. That's a two dollar increase from the
previous price of $15.99.

Prices have gone up but the selection of parts have gone down (at least in our
area where 3 Lego stores are relatively close).

The good news is that the cardboard boxes they now use hold just as much as the
cups. We purchased one and filled it with 1x1 round plates then poured them into
a PAB cup and found that hold about the same amount maybe with the box holding
just a smidge more. The advantage with the box being rectangular instead of round
means that they are better for stacking square parts like plates or door frames.
And they are definitely more gooder then worser for the environmenta.
