Hi,

I would like to upload the part 18193c02 in my store. However, it is a big one,
so I will definitely not fit into an enveloppe.

The weight is 109g so, if anyone buys it, the system will assign 1,60€ as shipping
method, and I cannot send it at that price, as I will need to send a box. I have
been playing with the shipping options, but I do not know how to fix the issue
and I do not know how to restrict this specific part due to dimensions. I guess
it is in restrictions and adjustments, but I have not been able to do it. Could
anyone please help me with this?

Below you can see some pictures of my shipping settings.

Many thanks in advance!!
Rut

3 options
option 1 change your max dimensions in your settings to something smaller then
the boat. (right now you have 120 x 60 x 60 and the boat is 32 x 16 x 6.72)

option 2 manually change the weight of the boat so it's forced to use different
shipping options (where the arrow is pointing in the image)

option 3 mark it as not instant checkout and then manually invoice it (the input
circled in the image)

in order to get some of this to appear you may need to enable

"Enable my weight and my packing dimensions on each item for sale"

I change as many big items as I can catch to manual invoice only. I also recommend
this for heavy/expensive instructions as you may want to add backing boards.

See attached screencap for how to change a listing to manual. This is the from
the "sell parts" screen.

If you are going to send that item in a box, I recommend a lot of padding in
and around it and preferably the type of padding that is crush resistant. Foam
packing peanuts probably won't work too well, but if it is cut to fit properly,
you might be able to use styrofoam packing pieces cut and sized to fill the empty
spaces around that item.

Just my recommendations for shipping this item.

Cheers ...
