I've added several custom items to my inventory, but when someone buys them
the auto-checkout process doesn't work because they don't have a weight.
Is there a way to add a weight to custom items?

Thanks
Wesley

Yes, first go to Store Settings / Management / Inventory and check this box (or
confirm it's checked). Then you should be able to edit the weights and dimensions
for your custom items (as well as everything else):

Alternatively, add weights to individual listings on your "My Store Inventory"
category pages, which is what we often do with custom listings.

Can you do that without enabling the setting?

Good point. I assumed that setting was enabled by default.
