To be clear they are a little pricier than some (although they are cheaper if
you have an Amazon Business account - like 25% cheaper) but they are more durable
than most. I like them especially for minifigs.

I use Gripwell bags which I get from a local UK-based wholesaler. They are pretty
cheap, from 1/5th of a penny for the smallest (1.5" x 2.5" up to 8.3
pence for the largest (15" x 20". I assume they are available in the
US as they're made in China. I use 12 different sizes so that I can minimise
my costs.

I use spartan on amazon, they seal well and 1000 for less than a cent. Sizes
2"×3" for minifigsand very small parts, 3"×5", snack bags, sandwich
bags, then a few half gallon and gallon just in case. Snack bag size and up the
price advantage goes down and I switch to walmart branded stuff.

For minifigures and small quantities/lots I use these sizes the most along with
GL0 (Not pictured):-
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1438331
but a range of sizes is ideal and I use around 13 different sizes from GL0 to
GL12 but most importantly for me is to keep things compact and only use the exact
bag sizes required for the quantity of parts being packed in the sense that for
environmental purposes its not about how many bags you use, its how efficiently
you use them as so many people just go for larger sized bags to cover all situations
but this usually means parts being shipped out with unnecessary excess airspace/plastic
waste (Lego do the same which I've never quite understood?)
Using several smaller bags to pack an order benefit the customer by keeping lots
separated whilst generally using less plastic waste but of course if dealing
with lots of small quantities of 1 or 2 it often makes sense to bundle these
lots together in same bag rather than use individual bags for each lot which
is not only wasteful but actually quite tedious for the buyer who then has to
open a bag to access each and every single part they've ordered. No idea
why so many sellers do this?

Also, don't ignore LEGO bags from sets (especially the traditional clear
plastic ones). If opened neatly then they can be reused when packing or storing
larger parts or lots of the same part.

| I literally use zip lock sandwich bags. 3-4 cents a piece (sometimes less) good
for almost everything.

I also use the zip lock gallon bags for bulk orders.

| For shipping
Bead bags from Dollarstore for minifigs.
Snack size so fingers can fit and grab items.
and bubble envelope packaging works well for instruction books and sticker sheets.
For Storage
Slide lock zipper bags are easier and quicker to open, come in a variety of sizes,
plus they are durable.

Check out Hobby Lobby. Theirs are a good value, though not very thick and would
wrinkle easily i.e., single use only.
