| Hi there,
I have sent an order with both of us giving each other positive feedback. I have
not been able to mark it as completed (and neither can the buyer) and it's
driving us both bananas.
I have reached out multiple times to Bricklink support but have yet to receive
an answer. I do believe it's because the buyer didn't pay onsite (and
I didn't realize it before now - I received the PayPal notification and off
it went).
I'm more than happy to pay tax, etc. Anyone have any advice? Things I've
tried.
- Cycling through all the statuses allowed and pressing submit after each one
- Separate order payment status from order status (shows as "None" for
the buyer)
Any other ideas?
Thanks all!

| sounds like the classic case of the buyer not paying onsite. there is only 1
solution. fully refund the payment and have them pay on bricklink. unfortunately
there isn't any other solution or way to pay the tax. bricklink collects
tax during the onsite payment process and you cannot remit it otherwise. if you
dont do this you are keeping tax money which lets just say is not a good choice
hope this helps!

| I agree. And I have to hope that a buyer pays me the right amount of money, I
lose my PayPal fees, etc. Ugh, it's so frustrating. I want to pay the tax!
Tax me! Ha ha.

I would ask Bricklink where you can pay the tax.

If you find the buyer has paid for their order on the PayPal website, but has
not used the PayPal Onsite link on their Orders received payment, refund the
payment on the PayPal website, and send the buyer a message stating that they
must use the PayPal Onsite link.
If the buyer does not do this it is tax evasion, as PayPal Onsite must be used
when taxes must be collected and remitted by BrickLink. If you have a link in
your store terms that links to a payment method that is not PayPal Onsite, remove
it from your store terms to avoid confusing the buyer.
Cheers ...
