Is Brink link really a profitable way to resell Legos; how much time usually
elapses between the listing and selling of an item?

You can make money yes but it’s by no means the easiest or fastest way. It’s
a business that requires lots of capital and lots of work if you want consistent
income. How long an item takes to sell depends on many many factors such as how
many other items you have for sale, how popular the part is, its size/weight
(depending on country) current competition (both local and international), etc
but on average about a 20-30% of store value turnover is somewhat normal

Is it better pure in heart and rich in the mind or rich in the heart and pure
in the mind. Ought one to mind the pure and love the rich or is it preferably
to love the pure and only then mind the rich?

It depends on how much stock you have, whether it is new or used, how in-demand
it is and how you price it. For a new seller now just starting to buy retail
stock at retail prices, forget about profit for two years unless you are able
to buy at very heavy discounts.

Curious how you managed to get feedback and open a store in the 2 days since
you became a member?

A store that gives feedback as soon as the buyer pays.

and open a store in the 2 days since you became a member?

The store isn’t open.  They only have the seller status with a closed store that
they can’t open before having passed the verification.

Of course it’s profitable. There would be no sellers if everyone lost money doing
it. How profitable depends on how much time you put in, how much money you can
afford to invest, and how smart you are.

For very rough numbers, I would think $200,000 in bricklink inventory could allow
you to make enough to live off of. All depending on your specific cost of living
of course.

As for how much time between listing and selling, it depends mostly on price.
I listed $500-600 in classic space parts around 2pm today and have sold about
10% of it by 7pm. 6 months is the more realistic answer to turn over your inventory
though.
