I had 2 sales and the inventory is still showing up in my store. I thought that
it would be zeroed out or quantities changed. what am I doing wrong?

By any chance, did you check this box when listing?

Selling items absolutely removes them from your shop. If you opted to Retain
the item when listing it, it will be moved to a Stockroom with zero quantity
if it sells out.

Are you seeing the totals on the Order page? A Quote page? In your Store Inventory?
