Buying Privileges - OK
Over the past few months I have been compiling wanted lists for pieces I'm
missing from 50+ sets. I attempted to log in this week to purchase most of those
items but I wasn't able to log in using my existing Bricklink account. When
I tried to reset my password I was told that no account for my email address
existed. I've reached out to Bricklink support but haven't heard anything
yet.

Today I created a "new" account with the same email address and username
in hopes that the wanted list would already be populated. It wasn't. This
was my only running list of the missing items I need and it is a huge bummer
to lose it. Is there any hope of recovering my wanted lists? Has this happened
to anyone before?

Only chance is if you saved a backup of them or if the helpdesk can help you
(current wait time 3-4 weeks) or if you can somehow remember your login details
on your old account

I doubt the system would let you create a 'new' account with a previously
used email. It's much more likely that you've been trying to log in with
a different email address or that there's a typo somewhere.

I'm 100% positive I am using the same email address and username. It's
the same email and username I use for everything. And it was even saved in my
browser. It is really strange behavior but I'm completely confident this
is an issue on Bricklink's side.

Check your email for a Bricklink email containing a ZIP file, if you had an older
account that didn't login for certain time and you didn't accept the
new Terms of Services they are obligated to erase you from their servers, but
they send out a backup of your account to your email in case you want to recover
everything.

Do you remember any catalog credit or shops that left you feedback? You could
search those to discover your anonymized username.
