I updated my Mac to Sonoma last night and now the studio application opens but
freezes on the main screen.

It’s a known problem, a lot of users have been caught in it: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?t=9775

There’s no fix yet but I listed possible workarounds here (none perfect): https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?p=31723#p31723

Some seem to have had success with Sonoma 14.2.1 and EarlyAccess.


Also, as you can notice, all the posts are on the dedicated forum for Studio
and PartDesigner, https://forum.bricklink.com/ (hover over the red Studio icon
on every page, then click “Studio Forum”), which is where one should look for
info first
