I am working on a model studio using a few of the old arm parts. My question
is about the arm connector brick 791c01 or c02. I remember that the fingers
rotate in the brick so you can move arm up and down, not just right and left.
In studio, the default direction is horizontal to the brick. Is there a way
to rotate this fingers, I don't see a hinge direction for it. Or am I totally
misremembering that these rotate. Thanks in advance

Yes the fingers move, I have one of those and they do move up and down. I guess
that studio just doesn’t have the movement programmed in.

These parts do rotate and they should be “posable”¹ in Studio but they aren’t. 
With many others, they have been on the todo list for some time
